Only appears once during the hospital level. A shame, it's a cool looking truck! It inexplicably disappear during the hospital revisit during the DLC campaign. Guess a plucky survivor managed to drive it out of the city to safety!
It's got the front grill of a 75' Jaguar XJ6 yet the body is a typical 70's boat car that I'm sure the folks here can identify off the top of their heads. That being said, it was hard to find one that wasn't busted. Only one appears with an intact front grill and it was facing a bloody wall in the main campaign, I managed to find an intact one during the DLC campaign. Very odd, considering the wrecked variant makes roughly 100 appearances during the whole game.
One of the rarest cars in the game alongside the firetruck F-350. Appears only once at the hospital and nowhere else. A shame, considering the zombie-infested city would have certainly had Ambulances running left and right before the bitter end.
Huh, good to know! Oddly enough, this car is rather rare ingame. It appears a grand total of ONCE during the main campaign facing a corrugated door and a couple times in the first level of the DLC campaign. -- Last edit: 2018-09-03 21:53:49
Hmm, looks like some backwater yokels have been keeping this particular Opel alive since the end of WW2...

Found this late into the game, does IGCDB cover Steamrollers?
How could a Chrysler 300 be in such bad shape? Looks like it was underwater for 10 years instead of sitting derelict in the desert...
Considering the game is set in 2171, it's very odd to see a vehicle from 2010 still being used by emergency services in NYC. Maybe they got bit by the Nostalgia bug
Someone managed to get the Volkswagen to function as an actual vehicle through the Wreckfest Workshop. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=918072801&searchtext=
Such a goofy-looking Truck/SUV fusion, wish we could have gotten a better look at it. It's way too detailed to just appear in a single cutscene :c
Either Mr. Bean is lost or Jeremy Clarkson lost a significant bet while filming in Rotterham
G-Body? Whoever is designing the vehicles for this game has good taste in cars
JeepCherokee/Volvo 240 Wagon crossover? lol, what a strange combo. Leaning towards Volvo 240 Wagon, but the Jeep Cherokee chassis, hood and grill is unmistakable.
73' Ford Falcon. Rare to see stateside.
This along with the Shelby GT500 Only appears once in the entire game, which most players would have ignored. If I was the modeller, I'd feel underappreciated :P
Getting some Nissan 350z vibes from this one...
Front grill and much of the body is very reminiscent of a mid 00's Toyota Century but the rear is definitely a mid to late 90's Cadillac DeVille. What do you guy's think?

It honestly resembles the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/Wienermobile-Bologna.jpg :P
VERY odd to see this in game given the context of the game. The World Trade Center is still standing and given the abundance of mid 90's Caprices, it's safe to say the setting is the mid to late 90's New York. Maybe the dev-team was looking around a junkyard for reference wrecks and found this baby, not knowing it was from a different generation.
valera wrote E23 ? Let's go with that, car is very stylized thanks to the pixel art and I think the artist took some liberties with the rounded edges and compact trunk.
Belich wrote Moskvich 2140? Closest thing I can think of. The Grill badging made me with it was an early 80's Alfa Romeo at first.
Only destructible car in the game, you beat the crap out of it to piss off the nazi's inside.
You telling me this is the only game to EVER feature a Bricklin? Man, that one of a kind relic deserves more attention!
Shame we never got a real Dodge Challenger Ute, it looks pretty damn cool!
Rear was just a blank slab with a license plate from what I remember. I personally feel this was a "Made for Game" car.

Game includes several variants with multiple attachments and some end up in varying states of disrepair. Quite a feat for an Indie game.
Good eye, I always got the Tundra and Tacoma's mixed up. Any idea what year? Mods are so extensive it's hard to tell.
Better quality image posted.
Uploaded another variant only seen once in the game. I dubbed it the "Eyesore" edition :P
Uploaded a photo without the green night-vision filter.
Yup, certainly an early 80's Monte Carlo. I personally think it's an 82.
I'll be driving this one the whole game, even if the edges have been rounded a tad bit
Hehe, that's another Ubisoft game with a Chris Farley reference. I guess someone on the team is a big fan.
kylebuilder wrote could of been because the original model might of used the design of the older muscle car but the decided to change it around due to lack of variety but theyforgot to change the Description. Yeah, due to all the mods, I'd say this looks more like a Dodge Challenger ended up in the hands of an enthusiast who wanted to make his own modern-day Coupe Utility. Guy writing the description could use a slap upside the head. I'm warming up to this car now, Reminds me of this interesting one-of-a-kind Corvette i.redditmedia.com/fI5Vn8mS7oxuMF62qliqD6bErnTd58_dhdhU6KM1ies.jpg?w=640&s=5ed125b2641e6db0d3da783e8e5bdec2
I'm laughing up a storm here. Look at a 1970 Ford Ranchero, then a 1970 Chevy El Camino. Then take a quick look at this. No way this is from the golden era of muscle cars. This reeks so much of late 2000's engineering it's pitiful. I mean... I'd still drive it, that truck-bed is damn sexy on a Dodge Challenger... -- Last edit: 2018-03-25 23:35:40
Rear looks like a mid 90's Ford Explorer to me. |
