First of all, this and the XF GTR have to be the same car.
I vote for Suzuki Swift 1.3 GTi; but I actually think this is a mixture of car shapes and we can't say something obvious from its mechanics.

Anyway we should add some more pictures of the car just in case someone finds more similarities with other existing car:

True, my fault. I thought both Celica models shared the same body. The car I had in mind is the Celica GT-4 ST205 Mk.VI ;)

As stated in a post above, here we label cars by appearance not technical details. If a VW Golf has a Porsche engine we don't list it as a Porsche. Same thing applies at IMCDB.

You are wrong. Here we label cars by what they are for crying out loud. This is based on a Celica, I have given enough proof and even the LFS staff consider it a Celica. Read what I quoted and said.

If a VW Golf has a Porsche engine we don't list it as a Porsche, we list it as a Golf that's what it is. Is it a bloody Pontiac-Fiero-based Lamborghini replica a Lamborghini for you? Looks like so.

I won't continue with this nonsense, it should stay as Celica.

Let me insert a quote from the Official Live For Speed Manual:

wrote
...
XF GTi (XFG) - Front-wheel drive hatchback, similar to sporty hatchbacks such as the Peugeot 106 Rallye/Citroen AX GTi
XR GT (XRG) - Rear-wheel drive, front engined coupe, similar to a Mitsubishi Starion
Formula BMW (FBM) - Formula BMW FB02
XR GT Turbo (XRT) - XR GT with a larger engine and turbocharger
RB4 GT (RB4) - Four-wheel drive, front-engined coupe, similar to a Toyota Celica GT4
FXO Turbo (FXO) - Front-wheel drive, front-engined coupe, similar to the Vauxhall/Opel Astra G Coupe
LX4 - Rear-wheel drive, front engined, LFS gets it's very own Lotus Seven replica, not too dissimilar to the Catermhams and Westfields of this world
LX6 - Much like the LX4, this sports a more powerful engine, although this weighs it down more, you'd never realise given the way it accelerates
MRT - Small open-wheel racecar somewhat larger than a kart, based on the real MRT5 built by the McGill Racing Team to compete in the Formula SAE championship
...

I hope this finally clarifies this.

This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, really!!! A car can NEVER become an OTHER car by changing internal components!

First of all, take it easy. And my apologies if my comment sounded rude. We can discuss whatever related to the game-cars here.
The target of this website is to identify cars in games. Live For Speed is an online racing simulator, and its main obvious feature is to let us drive a bunch or different range of cars that the world of motoring and racing industry presents. They give us the XF GTi which is a small and easy FWD small engined hatchback like a Suzuki Swift, they give us the XR GT which is a RWD coupe, the FZ50 which is a RWD sportscar, ... and the RB4 GT which is a 4WD coupe.
The Supra would fit somewhere in the range of the FZ50 due to its mechanic.
I'm pretty sure if you contact to the depelopers of LFS would tell something similar to this. You can take a look at the LFS manual en.lfsmanual.net to see why each vehicle in the game is there for.

I say Supra, just like Christine is listed on imcdb as a Belvedere, not a Fury, because she looks like a Belvedere.

I'm not aware of imcdb's Christine being listed as a car that looks like... I personally don't follow that idea; as an example a Pontiac Fiero will always be a Fiero even if you apply a Ferrari or Lamborghini bodykit on it... Would you call it a Lamborghini even if it's a known replica?
Either way, this issue is out of the topic at hand.

I'm sorry guys, but this car is intended to be a ST185 GT-Four Toyota Celica Mk.VI

Mitsubishi Starion

Live for Speed (2005)
I guess there are three possible main base cars:

Porsche 944: similar shape but different engine (2.0turbo 4cyl. versus 2.4 or 2.4turbo 4cyl.)
Mitsubishi Starion: again similar shape but similar engine this time (2.0 turbo 4cyl. versus 2.0 or 2.6 turbos)
Mazda RX7 FC: similar shape, different kind of engine: (2.0turbo 4cyl. versus 1.3 twin-rotor wankel rotary)

So, the Mitsubishi could be the winner; even the shape is the most similar.

Citroën AX

Live for Speed (2005)
The Citroën AX GTi or Saxo have similar engines but the car itself it's smaller than this XF...
I still mantain my opinion: for me this is a Suzuki Swift GTi 1.3 www.heliusdesigns.com/images/rocky_SS20894.jpg Both for the engine, performance and body similarities/shape/size.

Toyota Celica

Live for Speed (2005)
I have explained this before:

I think it is needed to be remembered that this game focuses in the driving and performance of the cars in it, mostly the mechanics. The design is important as well but remember the main reason of the existance of each car.

This game-car has a 2-liter 4 cylinder turbo engine with AWD transmission. And it's exaclty what a GT-Four ST185 Toyota Celica [MK6] has.

A MK4 Supra (the JZA80 platform) mounts a 3-liter 6 cylinder engine with RearWheelDrive. Which has NOTHING to do with this LFS car RB4 GT. I admit that the bodykit resembles the JZA80 but just that, and even the Supra has much bigger dimensions than this.

So please make it a Toyota Celica GT-Four [ST185] again, please. To have it RIGHT.
