The body of this truck is far too curvy for the T600. The Volvo VNL is a closer alternative to this than any Kenworth because of the triangular headlights and the grille which differs from the regular Kenworth ones. Nothing here shows anything matching a T600 truck.
18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul (2007) | The trucks in this game are based off the ones in real life, but there are a few fictional elements added onto them. Even with the other 18 Wheels of Steel games, it is still recognizable.
The days when Ford made semi-trucks for the US market. -- Last edit: 2023-04-11 16:07:09
The body seems to be that of a Mack CH, the front of this truck however is really unusual, with the oversized grille, and the blinkers look like they are bigger than the headlights if you inspect it closely. I'm not sure what to say about the stretched-out cylinder wheels on the trailer.
I dislike Forza, but I'm only here to say that Lynk & Co's HQ is located in Sweden, but is owned by the parent company Geely.
The Crew: Motorfest (2023) | Burninrubber12345 wrote Unfortunately this game will not be available on Steam because of Ubisoft, and Idk why!? Actually, it is: store.steampowered.com/news/group/6754604/view/3642883924768913998#:~:text=The%20Crew%20Motorfest.,Steam%20and%20Epic%20Games%20Store.
Klumb3r wrote "Essentially, a sportback is 5-door hatchback with a fast roofline and a sportier design." Check what websites say about this vehicle, research the class it is involved with and the cars that compete with it. It is a sedan.
Caprice? Not to me. This is more of a 4th generation Hyundai Elantra since the body is shorter than the vehicle it is currently listed as.
This can only be seen in the final round of stage 10 while racing across New York against Marcus Blackwell.
Yet another car on IGCD listed as a hatchback when it isn't...can't you check online to see the vehicle's class?
Seems like the 2008-2011 facelift model to me.
Judging by the sharp edges and lines, this is a third generation Honda Fit. The previous generations were a bit more curvier than the current one. The Chevrolet Spark is completely far behind the Fit when you compare both cars to this vehicle as the Spark has a higher ground clearance with the side windows being different.
AutoTracker wrote Is it me or does the front end resemble a 2017 Lincoln Continental? www.netcarshow.com/lincoln/2017-continental/1600x1200/wallpaper_06.htm The front end matches to a Jaguar with the rest of the vehicle having the style of a BMW.
In the Driver: San Francisco trailer, you could see a Papavero lookalike on the Golden Gate bridge while Jericho was smashing into everything. That game was released 4 years before Watch Dogs.
This is a Volkswagen Polo as this vehicle has a direct match with the front design, taillights and body shape (Except the roof). I don't see anything that screams Mazda about the vehicle.
Aside from the taillights, the rest of the vehicle shares a higher resemblance to the second-generation Saturn Vue and not a Mitsubishi as the 2010 Outlander has a more rectangular design with the headlights and front grille, especially since the body is 25% more boxy. The Vue's XR trim is the perfect one for this.
This is also known as a Miata.
I think it's more of an Aston Martin One-77.
Leandro wrote So, license problems or what? Licensing problems since they signed a deal which doesn't allow their cars in Need For Speed games (Toyota).
Leandro wrote Why is his origin South Korea? The Chevrolet Cruze had a production plant in South Korea which went defunct in 2018.
Antti-san wrote Street racing games used to have a lot of SUVs in them, though? Midnight Club 3 springs to mind, for one. Yes, but the number of SUVs in racing games have partially decreased. Gaming companies usually allow lower class vehicles to adapt more to the racing genre. The Yukon already comes as a traffic vehicle like the Infiniti G35. If you talk about this to EA, it is unlikely they would take it into consideration.
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that some of the updates should have been in the game when it was released?
One of the only PC games that has the i3. Usually, mobile games tend to get the new vehicles that some PC/console games don't feature.
The front favors 90% of a Toyota Yaris, but assuming that the rest of the car has the style of the Nissan Leaf, then it's fine as it is.
It has a closer match to the Chevrolet SS than a Cruze. It has a sharper and sportier style.
I admire the hatchback more than the sedan.
Rebadged as a Mazda 2 in the US.
Nick Name wrote Considering we've had Escalades in the past this SHOULD have been a playable vehicle. It wouldn't make sense to them to add vehicles that don't fit the street racing genre in my honest opinion. Majority of the SUVs in Need For Speed are barely played by anyone. They also won't allow it to be playable since it already comes as a traffic vehicle.
No interior view? | ||
I have never heard of this specific model before, although I have seen the previous generation of it, I didn't know the name.
It shows more similarities to a Dodge Charger rather than a Taurus: www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z17895/dodge-charger-police-car.aspx
Need for Speed: Unbound (2022) | Leandro wrote Did EA re-use some cars from NFS: Heat? Yes. Even the traffic vehicles since some of them have Palm City license plates. Aside from this, many playable vehicles were reused from Heat, but there is a lower amount of cars available in Unbound. racinggames.gg/need-for-speed/need-for-speed-unbound-vol-2-update-hands-on-too-little-too-late/#:~:text=While%20Unbound%20launched%20with%20the,most%20were%20recycled%20from%20Heat. -- Last edit: 2023-04-02 17:50:32
Leandro wrote Wait what? The first Need For Speed game had scooters riding around. This bike only appears in the cutscenes of Heat.
Leandro wrote This is, rarely, the only motorbike that appears fisically in a NFS game Don't forget that they used to have motorbikes as traffic vehicles.
Mathias98 wrote I agree, just simply having German origin for a Verano is a bit weird. IMCDB also has an option to add "Built in: [country name]" and "Made for: [country name]" next to the country origin, which could be useful for cases like this car - I think it would be a good idea to add these features to IGCD. That would help clear up things a bit, since there are a lot of inconsistencies on the site right now - for example some of the Opel-based Vauxhalls have British, while others have German origin. Thanks for explaining this. If it was supposed to be an Opel, or something based on it, then it would make sense to list its origin as German, but this is clearly a Buick Verano which is a US-made vehicle, being in a US based game and is sold directly in the US market, so the origin being American is more valid. The design doesn't match the Opel Astra either, so that's another catch for listing it as a German vehicle. Same reason why some sedans are incorrectly listed as hatchbacks on IGCD.
Tuppence870 wrote That is pretty much exactly what I said about the Buick, but the Transit is a different case. The Transit has a history as a European market model dating back over 50 years, whereas it only came to the US market in 2014. Ford of Europe is based in Germany, and most EU-origin Fords are listed as German to reflect that, including most other Transits. It's worth mentioning that the location of a vehicle's manufacture is not necessarily what the origin on IGCD refers to - instead it's more about the cultural context of what country the vehicle is associated with. Still would make sense to me to name a vehicle made in a particular location and give it a different origin in another place.
We had a vehicle with a similar customization theme like this one. Not sure what happened to it.
Tuppence870 wrote I believe the reason for it being listed as German is because IMCDb views it as a rebadged Opel Astra. I'm not sure if that's an entirely correct assumption though - it does share the same platform as the Astra (as do many other vehicles like the Chevrolet Cruze & Volt), but unlike the Chinese Buick Excelle XT (which is literally an Astra with a Buick badge slapped onto it), the Verano/Excelle GT has it's own unique design. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_Delta_platform#Delta_II But it is still an American model that is differed from the German version. The Ford Transit in ATS is listed as a German model when it isn't.
rayjunhwang1357x wrote You heard him. Bruise is always right. There are only 2 manufacturing plants for the first generation Verano, one located in Michigan USA, and the other in Yantai, a city in China (Where it is branded as an Excelle). The production model in the US was manufactured from 2011-2016, and was the only one sold directly in the American market: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Verano So this is an American-made vehicle and not a German one, the manufacturing plants GM own in Germany are only associated with Opels.
It resembles a Chevrolet Cruze more than any other vehicle mentioned here.
MKA was the greatest airline that I have flown on. You guys should give it a try.
Need for Speed: Unbound (2022) | Does anyone think that Lakeshore could use some more additional details as some people think the map is too bland?
This vehicle has a closer resemblance to the Sony Afeela: www.caranddriver.com/news/a42400955/afeela-sony-honda-ev/
It has the front of the second generation Smart Fortwo, but the back resembles the previous generation model, so I would remove the model year.
Victor_2003 wrote Looks like Audi are follow the stupid "We don't promote illegal street racing" idea from Toyota. Some automakers don't like seeing their vehicles being promoted as getaway cars. There's more reasons like the Polyphone.
Victor_2003 wrote Appeared for last time in NFS World, after that, the developers forgot the existence of TT. Audi left the NFS franchise so it doesn't make any difference if it would be in Unbound.
Need for Speed: The Run (2011) | I wonder why there were no Ferraris included in this game. It could have used a 458, Enzo, Testarossa etc. There isn’t a Viper or an Eclipse either.
Still absent from NFS. | ||
Victor_2003 wrote Acura was cut? Yeah, they tried to license some Acuras if I'm not wrong, but it didn't work for EA so they resorted to a Porsche.
I would say it's a Mercedes Travego/MCI J4500. |
