If that is what companies want in their video games. What I am saying is that the Yukon is included as a traffic vehicle in Heat and Unbound (Except that in Unbound, it only spawns as a parked vehicle) so they won't bother to make a playable one. Having a playable car/SUV/truck that also comes as a traffic car doesn't make the game look good.

The companies can control the modifications, damage and Illegal street racing questions, i don't think they can decided of the vehicle are for traffic or not.

Add playable suvs and pickups in racing games makes the vehicle catalog have more variety, Midnight Club 3 was one example.

It wouldn't make sense to them to add vehicles that don't fit the street racing genre in my honest opinion. Majority of the SUVs in Need For Speed are barely played by anyone. They also won't allow it to be playable since it already comes as a traffic vehicle.

Street racing games used to have a lot of SUVs in them, though? Midnight Club 3 springs to mind, for one.

Yes, but the number of SUVs in racing games have partially decreased. Gaming companies usually allow lower class vehicles to adapt more to the racing genre. The Yukon already comes as a traffic vehicle like the Infiniti G35. If you talk about this to EA, it is unlikely they would take it into consideration.

Considering we've had Escalades in the past this SHOULD have been a playable vehicle.
