I would replace them just for updated shots, but I'm not allowed to. :/

Weren't there easter eggs like this though? I know one of them, referencing characters from the original game.
Winnebago Chieftain

Saints Row (2022)
It could be because it's set in the Southwest.
Kenworth T-680

Saints Row (2022)
2018 Mack Anthem, at least going by the front fascia.

Honestly I see a lot of current-gen Toyota Aygo in this.

I suppose these are just modded Crown Vics imo.

Italdesign Cala? Considering all other Attraziones are listed as such.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
Indeed. It's MILES better than the Morris Minor lookalike in the '06 version.

Or developers, for that matter.

So overall there seems to be significantly more car variety compared to the original. I assume there are Russian cars in the Soviet level?

Pretty much, yeah. Including at least one 70s hatchback.

I am currently powering through Takoshima's arc of missions, so the future entries of Tunguska (provided they actually have Soviet cars as you said) will come later.

On one hand can moon rovers be listed? The final area is set on the moon as was the original release.

International Harvester R-Series

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
It's just something that happens to developers. I guess they couldn't find any 60s Euro truck to base it off of, so they simply made a reproduction of this asset from the original's remake and made it RHD.

This is just fictional, anyway. Again, it's just somethin' that happens.
Jeep Wrangler

Saints Row (2022)
For some reason the front fascia seems to have been pulled from the Mercedes G-Klasse. Strange.
Piaggio Ape

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
Looking at it closer it does resemble the Piaggio Ape.
Lincoln Continental

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
I would go for Continental. It's got rear-hinged doors.

Strange choice and too bad it only appears in Takoshima. On one hand though, American cars did get imported to Japan (albeit sparsely), so maybe that would be logical.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
No idea. Guess BFG couldn't shake up any Euro truck, so they had to reuse this. I have not looked into Takoshima yet but I'll get there later. Some of them are also into Albion like that F-100 and the Rebel lookalike.

Guess somebody private imported them.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (2022)
This is sadly not in the game - only appears in the trailer.
Nissan Quest

Saints Row (2022)
With the new pics I just don't see a Pacifica in this. It looks generic at best.
Custom Made Lada Raven

Saints Row (2022)
You weren't missin' much, as the original model had a front end design from a futuristic car - which was years after the original was out.

What the totally inaccurate SR Fandom says that it was somewhat inspired with the SCG 001.

This model, I dunno what they did but it looks worse imho.
Hyundai Kona

Saints Row (2022)
OK... That still doesn't necessarily mean it's based on a Kona.
Hyundai Kona

Saints Row (2022)
I did that but they edited it back to Kona. Why?
Mazda MX-5

Saints Row (2022)
The thinner headlights would make it a ND MX-5.

Saints Row (2022)
I agree on the sentiment of the 206, but part of me thinks this is rather messed up as Peugeot hasn't been in the U.S. since 1991.

Does Volition have some obsession with French cars?
Toyota Celica Supra

Saints Row (2022)
This is really nicely designed for a Celica Supra mockup. It's such a shame they're rare nowadays because we just trash them.

CSR Racing 2 (2016)
Yes, but T10/PG simply has no interest in bringing it back. Either that or the fanbase hates them or there are actual licenses from models, which isn't true

GT Racing: Motor Academy (2010)
Yes, but some of them have no contributor name as well.
Ford F-150

Demolition Racer: No Exit (2000)
It looks similar to a '94 Ram in some elements as well.

Too bad this asset was abandoned as it could have been used in San Francisco as a traffic car in TD 2002.

Demolition Racer: No Exit (2000)
I wonder if I'd get a copy of this and a Dreamcast someday....

Little known fact: Some of these assets like the Destroyer, Mantis and the Cruiser among several others were later reused as traffic duty in TD 2002.
Tesla Model S

Asphalt 8: Airborne (2013)
Tesla shut down their licensing and media divisions, afaik which is why we don't see a licensed Tesla in any racing game apart from GT Sport and 7. You have to DM the boss, Elon Musk.
Hyundai Kona

Saints Row (2022)
I'd concur on CX-3 as it looks quite similar. And since this is set in the fictional South West U.S., it's a 2016 by default.

It's a 90s NASCAR, but I can't put my finger on what it is....

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
Not only did it get that terrible grille, they also messed up the sound. The only way to rectify this for the time being is to install a racing exhaust, so that it sounds closer to the real thing.

Am I the only one who thinks there is a quality disparity with the screenshots in these entries? Some are great, but some are just bad.... Maybe that's just me but I prefer high-quality pics - for all of the vehicles. Just sayin'.

Just Cause 3 (2015)
I'd like to ask whoever changed this to a Zenvo for no reason whatsoever. I barely see the resemblance apart from the headlights.

I mean the Verdeleon Eco from JC4 shares the same bodystyle, but somewhat facelifted, but that is just a generic supercar at best.

So this is not a Zenvo ST1. It was MFG.

Ridge Racer (2011)
Keitanyan wrote

No, This is a 2004 Ferrari F430, besides it's far too modern to be a 360 Modena, even the Rivelta Mercurio from Ridge Racer V, the Soldat Meltfire's predecessor has bumpers, wheels and side skirts from the 360 Modena.

Fascinating, but it's changin' back to 360 Modena.

BeamNG.drive (2013)
If that would be the case then why was I accepted anyway, in regards to the Bastion and the Scintilla? In terms of cars, they are first-come, first-serve, I usually get ahold of them the moment they are released. Unfortunately I guess my shots were janky so I suppose they could see improvement. And not in some basic V6 trim or a regular GT model, in that specific order.
Chevrolet Chevy Van

Demolition Racer: No Exit (2000)
This was later reused in TD2002, but for some reason that entry has it listed as a Dodge Ram Van - which is not based on it.

Stuntman Ignition (2007)
It's totally not possible since all DLC has been delisted years ago.
Ascari A10

Stuntman Ignition (2007)
It has to be a Koenigsegg, specifically a CC8S considering the interior textures are based on that car. If we base it on the car then it should be Koenigsegg, not Ascari, because this is clearly not an A10.
Subaru Legacy

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
I don't see why people aren't upset by this, this is clearly cut and repaste, just to pad the Festival Playlist.
