Chevrolet Cruze

Gran Turismo 7 (2022)
Nope, this car is not a Cruze. Please look at the proportions, they're not Cruze at all.

0% resemblance to Cruze. Edited to unknown.

I don't. It's too clunky-looking. Plus it's not going to hang around anytime soon.

Why is this listed as a Cruze? This is not a Cruze.

Someone change it so that it doesn't resemble a Cruze. Please.

It wasn't even sold in the US. Except for the Yaris, which also was dead.
Rimac Nevera

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
To be honest this is the weakest vehicle entry of Series 19. While I applaud that this series has no recycled content, the Nevera is just uninteresting. The C_Two's going to be shafted away for this I can tell.
BMW 3 Touring

BeamNG.drive (2013)
So this model has gone through an slight remastering alongside the ETK K-series, and one worthwhile addition is now the 800 series now has spawned a sedan model. Amongst those rebuilt include analogue Alpina models of the 800 series and the K-series.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
Again this model is a can of worms on how this should be identified.

opal's an expert on these types of RVs. Maybe he could identify them.

EDIT: You know, Clandohoome could help out as well. Figure out what particular RV these are.

Fast & Furious: Crossroads (2020)

Is this a nice videogame or not?

No. It isn't. I asked if this would be recommended and Silnev wrote a long review explaining why it's a horrid game.

The game itself was appalling in virtually every aspect of the Fast & Furious franchise, and two crummy additions made it even worse.

I've said it before that the game is essentially good riddance. The game has been delisted as of April 2022 so none of the DLC (if there is any) is available due to the overwhelmingly negative amount of reviews this exercise in futility has, both critically and commercially.

This is shockingly bad how Slightly Mad Studios released this game. They should've stayed with Project CARS - oh wait, it's been killed off as well!

This all manifested in why EA suddenly decided to buy out Codemasters. The plot thickens...

Maserati MC20

CSR Racing 2 (2016)
Not likely because Maserati is under the Stellantis conglomerate. Even if the 1-year exclusive license expires, various problems still exist that prevent licensing a certain car, like this one.

FH5 for example has neglected Maserati for so long. They did not bother to update the GranTurismo nor consider adding any new road-worthy models. They don't seem interested to license the MC20 or the Grecale. Fact is the only Maserati added since FH5's launch is just another returning car.

If that's the case then why do these mobile game developers get the newest stuff first, and the AAA games are the last ones to do so? By the time this car gets added to Forza, this car will become obsolete. See where I'm goin' with this?
Benz 3-Tonnen

Transport Fever 2 (2019)
Since this car is remastered I have heavy doubts this is a generic looking Benz truck. Especially not one with windows on the side.

From the model itself it looks more like the Daimler model, what with the horn and light placements. If @clandohoome can shed some light on what this actually is it'd be worth a shot.

In detail this looks far more of those truck models used in WWI, especially one used for medical usage.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Well folks, looks like this my time with this entry's being thrown in the towel.

Since the game's way the hell too big (over 150 GB with world updates) I've decided to allow others to replace the placeholder screens. I'm not spending money on the marketplace (and Christ this entry is swamped with third-party mods) and it takes a while to switch planes and runways.

I'm sorry guys.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
I wouldn't say they're poorly modeled, although the Touring model seems to be proportionally shorter. Both of the G30 and G31 models were given subtle changes like the absense of the trademarked kidney grille (guessing they can avoid copyright).

It is starting to make sense. My spreadsheet listed both the sedan and wagon variants and I see this coming as welcome additions. So in theory, SCS did listen to my suggestions, to a large extent, and it is true.

I'm not exactly sure why the inclusion now since both models existed since 2017. Most of them aren't used for police duty. My theory is this - Germany is going through a rework and the 5-series is very much popular in Europe.

Again, I wouldn't say they're poorly modeled as the cars are in a WIP phase. These aren't the final models.

Lamborghini Revuelto

Asphalt 9: Legends (2018)
The hell?? It was revealed just yesterday... and Gameloft got it already?

So for anyone who wants to know about the Aventador successor, it's quite promising. It's Lamborghini's second hybrid car and one with striking looks. 1,001 horsepower and all-wheel drive make it a wild beast.

Oh and you can't buy one. It's already sold out - for two years.

So a word about how the unlockables are given out in the Rally Adventure: They're tied to a specific Ambassador. I've edited them to reflect the unlock conditions. The McRae Focus RS is available after the initial drive so the entry remains unchanged.

There are three in total: The Horizon Raptors (dirt rally), Apex Predators (road rallying), and Grit Reapers (night time rallying events)

Tesla Model Y

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
I can fully confirm that it's pretty much a Tesla Model Y. Everything matches, with the door line and all those details. I've asked for EVs in ETS2. SCS actually gave us one. Now if we can get the Volkswagen ID.3, Honda e and the Renault ZOE we'd be in business.

One other reason could be as a hypothetical question. Could SCS get a analogue factory in Berlin, considering Tesla now has a Gigafactory there? Given how four German cities are redone for 1.47 it seems likely a cause for celebration.

Turns out this is the only one added for this update. Damnit.

All said, I hope SCS gives us more in the next update. But so help me god (seriously), the new additions after this car better not be abominable knock-offs (lookin' straight at you, Golf ripoff for the Balkans)

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction (2005)
I'm happy to see this entry get updated.

There's something I want to see resolved - you know that Sungri Scout 4x4 that used to have its own entry? The one that had crucial info thanks to a former Pandemic vehicle designer's reply that it was a Sungri? Which somebody decided to make a duplicate and remove the original for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I tried to edit it back to its original name but some admin rejected it.

You know what? Replace all of the entries. Even the ones solarriors posted.
Pontiac GTO

Need for Speed: Pro Street (2007)
Two reasons: 1. Brand has been defunct since 2010, and 2. Most racing game developers nowadays don't seem interested in the other Pontiacs or convince GM to license more of their Pontiac wares, because they're just essentially GM rebadges. Most egregious is this model above since it's just a thinly-veiled Holden Monaro with Pontiac badges and a historic name pasted on, not to mention anemic performance.

Though Forza Motorsport 7 did manage to bring back other Pontiacs namely the G8 GXP. But that was it, though.

And just to clarify, this iteration of the GTO was heavily disliked, because of the above paragraph.

Volkswagen Golf

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
Egon wrote

I wonder why SCS suddenly started creating unrecognizable fictional cars. It would make sense for new Tesla Y in terms of copyright, but would anyone care in this case of 40 years old Golf??

Yeah I don't get it. But I do have one theory: SCS has seen an influx of new developers join the studio lately and their previous jobs in the past (if there is any) seems to have been making unlicensed mashups of different styles of cars.

I am starting to notice a pattern here. ATS update 1.46 brought us the hideous-looking single cab truck and a slightly modified Tundra and truck chassis that purportedly looks like a Sterling Acterra, while the MCI bus and the F-100 (which was found in 2020) look pretty much like the real models.

So why did the new designers do this to the Golf? This is a worse eyesore than the ancient Mk.V Golf that keeps populating ETS2. Personally I think the latter Golf should be remodeled.

Is this also the reason why all the unlicensed cars lost all of their fake badges?

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
As if anyone cares. The number one reason why we can't see certain cars or a particular marque is because of LICENSING AGREEMENTS. If a manufacturer doesn't get approval of their cars in games, the developers cannot put the cars that would be licensed otherwise in the game.

Do you even understand licensing and how it works? In the past developers even had checkbooks to get licenses for the cars.

There are many reasons why cars go away and it's not what you think it is. Maybe it's because a powerful version exists. Maybe it's a generational thing, or licensing issues.

Transport Fever 2 (2019)
It is an exact match, but we need its manufacturer. The game's dev is from Switzerland, so it makes a lot of sense to have it here.

After all this game had at least 85 of the game's vehicle roster updated.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (2005)
Y'know, I hadn't thought of this game's existence before, but this entry needs to be updated. Same with The Incredible Hulk game from 2008.

I wonder why there were no Ferraris included in this game. It could have used a 458, Enzo, Testarossa etc. There isn’t a Viper or an Eclipse either.

Do you even know how licensing works in racing games?

Do you understand that at the time, Ferrari were not allowed to be represented in NFS games because of the game's paltry amount of customization*?

*If I remember correctly Ferrari is a very prideful manufacturer and before Rivals, the last NFS game to feature Ferrari was Hot Pursuit 2.

Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
Because it's a live service game. FH3 did have some of the live service gimmick but it's now a legacy game entry.

FH4 is still around for a long while. It has 600 cars after all, but its incomplete sequel (read: FH5) had even less content, most of which is being resold as playlist prizes.

Quite a disappointment. FH4 had less issues, FH5 is good, but really bland.
