Speedy17 wrote Anyone got the vanilla game? I think we should replace the pics with the stock car,and without any graphic mods The stock car is already listed on the site, this is a bonus car from the quick race modes. Also there isn't any graphic mods.
Purehell wrote No, this car is not a Skyline, It's a Laurel. It is believed to have been built in reference to this car. Noice find, I agree that's it.

alatriste2003 wrote 1/1 version of this xD: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=238050 I know but I don't think it's a dodge. When I submitted the RC-XD I didn't realize it was based off this truck so I just made a guess based on the assumption "well it's set in 81 so, most likely a pickup from the 70s with round headlights" which is how I got to the dodge. However upon seeing the full basis in the final mission I think it's meant to be something else, like an International Scout or a Lada Niva or some other small pickup from the 70s. Not a Dodge D100 as I initially thought. -- Last edit: 2020-11-21 16:17:26
Also a version shows up in the campaign without the tarp roof.
alatriste2003 wrote Playable in the new multiplayer mode ''Dirty Bomb'', like the bike. Not this one, this is a prop outside some levels. The playable one has a mounted gun.

I suspect this is a re-use of a model from CoD WW2. Specifically the one that shows up towards the end of the mission Hill 493. -- Last edit: 2020-11-17 18:19:41

Silent Hill: Homecoming (2008) | Flippedoutkyrii wrote Do I just pop in screenshots with the "Add new photo" option on the car pages and an admin/mod cherry picks the higher quality photos to replace the older stuff? No no no, that's for like an image of the rear of the car or the interior. If you intend to submit a replacement pic just leave it as a comment on the entry's page with a link to the replacement image. -- Last edit: 2020-11-16 09:54:35

Auto-Friki wrote Since when was the Checker Marathon also used as a police car? I know it very well because it was used as a taxi. As a police car I have no idea, nor do I know if he ever used it in real life. NFS has a history of using unconventional cars as police vehicles, especially when it comes to props that don't have to be 1:1 to real life.

The GTI Project (2009) | Rinspeed wrote not complete. There isn't the tracks... I don't think you can access this game anymore, I went to the site and it linked me to a tire site. From an article I read from 2010 the "track" was a Scalextric circuit. -A part of the track I found on some dude's blogspot. -- Last edit: 2020-11-14 11:28:31

Vigo wrote OK. This one is a bit specific one. It's a 75 Buick Riviera Silver Arrow. Pretty rare variant of 70's Riviera, with a tad messed up -yet VERY recognizable- headlights. Take a look: i1.wp.com/www.curbsideclassic.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Silver-Arrow-IV-75-Copy.jpg and another one: assets.hemmings.com/blog/wp-content/uploads//2013/12/1972BuickRivieraSilverArrowIII_2000.jpg While I agree with the sentiment of it being a silver arrow however you are slightly mis-informed. Firstly the silver arrow wasn't a variant from 1975 it was a concept from 1971. The Silver one in your images is that car. The white one belonged to some guy who modified a 1975 Riviera to look like it. Anyway with that cleared up, +1 1971 Bill Mitchell Silver Arrow III. Bill Mitchell was the guy who made it. -- Last edit: 2020-11-12 06:53:49

Absolarix wrote Car also has design elements from a 1994 S14, In what capacity? I'm looking at it and I can't see anything that resembles S14 in that design. As another user pointed out they did make rwd Skylines, they weren't all awd gtr's. -- Last edit: 2020-11-11 08:20:23
Ford Econoline from the 90s.
I believe the Undertaker's bike is a 1998 Harley Davidson FXSTB Night Train. But it has been customized somewhat, with a different exhaust, custom seat with no bitch seat, and a springer set up on the rear cowl. -- Last edit: 2020-11-10 21:34:14
Daymare: 1998 (2019) | Flippedoutkyrii wrote Alrighty, I'm about mid-way through this game and it has a hell of a lot more cars then the average Horror-Action game! I've still got a lot of work to do so I'll keep updating the more I plow through the game! That's to be expected, it's a pseudo-remake of Resident Evil 2. See if you can't find a delorean, lol.
imo, it's an early 70's Skyline GTR. With light covers from the previous gen + different quarter windows.
RealCarter wrote Front is similar, but i think it's too short for NSX I was actually thinking more the sides and rear but if you think the front aswell I'd say it's a complete package. Heck it even has an nsx spoiler. As for size....well it is unlicensed but more to the point the nsx is not that big irl either so....

Auto-Friki wrote I have no idea what is going on. This prototype was for a circuit racing version. Which in a rally game I don't even tell you: Break logic. Perhaps but Dirt Showdown isn't a rally game, it was a spin off from the series that focused more on demo derbies/gymkhana. This car was only playable in the gymkhana stuff, so it fits somewhat. -- Last edit: 2020-11-07 16:45:13

alatriste2003 wrote I know these aren't the best pics in the world, but in a multiplayer Beta you can't take your time looking for the best place and illumination to do the perfect screenshots cause you can die at any moment. These pics are placeholders. When the game come out the next week, someone can replace them with better ones. Ah, my apologies. It's no problem, it just seems to be a common thread for bike entries. Where people take the shot in the dark and label it unknown, when all the ways to id a bike are hard to see. Anyway no harm no foul I suppose.
You couldn't have taken the images from the side illuminated by the sun?
This car has a conventional trunk so I'm not sure how it can be a hatchback...
Auto-Friki wrote Interestingly, the name Kuruma comes from the Japanese which literally means car. That is pretty well known. For instance it was a plot point in an episode of NCIS (from like 2006) where a witness saw a "kuruma" at the crime scene which the team ID's as a Chrysler Sebring sedan. -- Last edit: 2020-11-04 22:13:06
