D1 Professional Drift Grand Prix Series (2005) | fily photo_librarymode_comment 2024-01-21 04:31 | This game has 3 different versions with 3 different car lists. D1GP (Japanese release, late 2004 or 2005, hard to get info) D1GP 2005 (Again, a japanese release) D1GP 2005 (USA this time, and this page is dedicated to that version) The first version has some oddities such as Tarzan's Taisan Viper that was used in Formula Drift, but was originally raced in JGTC in the GT300 class. The second version introduces the UFO I believe as the final survival boss, but also has Ryouji Takada's Daihatsu Charmant, which is the only game in which it appears in (it doesn't even appear in the US release, it's essentially a 4 door AE86 with a different body). Finally, D1GP USA introduces US Formula Drift cars such as the RSR S2000, Rhys Millen's Pontiac GTO, and another RX7 FD and Toyota Supra whom I can't remember who they belonged to. Also, I believe Orido's Supra changes in each version of the game to stay up to date. |
