Yeah, I heard about it too. Movie (and book too) is full of mistakes, for instance: Remember being in a 1980s car with those buttons on doors inside that will lock the door? In movie, Christine had them - and there comes the funny part - no Plymouth in those days had them. Producers just drilled a hole, and put chromed button from another car.
