Your Worst Nightmare photo_librarymode_comment 2024-01-12 01:38 | if the moderators rejected your shots, it's because they didn't abide by the rules. I didn't make the rules but I follow them accordingly. If they were rejected, then they will tell you why. Same applies for unused cars/assets/beta content. 2024-01-05 01:18 | Dear admins, why was my original entry of this locomotive removed with no fault of my own? I actually did this entry when the expansion was released and someone just blindly took my entry away for no reason. Why? There was no reason for a second entry just to override my old one.... all it needed was an edit and it would be done, but no... they chose to delete my perfectly fine photo with both views, and this worse version got added in its place. Case in point why this really shows how low this site has gotten.

2023-12-27 19:13 | Antti-san wrote Huh, you learn something new everyday. I guess my image of American vans is a bit outdated then. Thanks for the link! Well, it wasn't just Ford that started this whole European thing. Chrysler also did so too, with the Dodge Sprinter, and eventually, the Ram Promaster. Speaking of, it is true Ford did sell 114,000 vans here in the year. Unfortunately, ATS has the S-Max, which is an awful vehicle that was added for no reason, and I have protested its appearance. There were no actual models of the S-Max sold in the U.S. because it is an ILLEGAL import, and does not meet the 25-year law. Yes, I know these are Czech devs but they have no idea that there isn't a single minivan at all in ATS. Despite my constant criticism regarding the Ford S-Max, the model is still occupying the virtual-sized America, and made worse by a scenery prop of the same model plaguing the game. They have not gotten around the know-how of how American traffic diversity is. Yes, the research trips done year-round alleviate this somewhat, but they still barely added any new AI cars, and ones that they did add this year were all SUVs. Why? I even went up and threw up a banned sticker of that car not too long ago in the hopes that SCS will delete the car for good. It has not been done.

2023-12-12 17:36 | Okay, so here's why this is an easter egg as Hanwoo said it before: 1. PACCAR is an American company specializing the companies of Peterbilt and Kenworth as well as DAF Trucks, N.V. 2. The reason why this is there is to showcase how harmonious SCS has put forth in the partnership with the PACCAR group. 3. It is actually illegal to drive this in the U.S. since we have a 25-year rule regarding how imported vehicles are allowed. There is a show or display policy which this truck does meet those requirements. 4. It is an ETS2 model, complete with digitalized mirrors which are not federalized in the U.S. 5. Lastly you cannot drive this vehicle, hence why it is listed as "unplayable". EDIT: The blog mentioned the easter egg, and this is the very easter egg shown above. blog.scssoft.com/2023/10/149-update-paccar-technical-center.html -- Last edit: 2023-12-13 19:46:59

2023-11-30 18:10 | Alright, before I get started, let me remind you of something: In about one hour from now SCS will roll out the Kansas DLC for all of us on Steam. As with the previous DLCs as of last year, I am a dedicated contributor of these two flagship trucking sims, and just like Oklahoma I will work on this project throughout the few days of release. Any assistance regarding any new content will be appreciated, but any submissions not by me will probably be rejected. That has been the rule so nobody goes chaotic over a cluster of shots of varying quality. Since I have specs that can achieve maximum quality pics, it is up to myself to attest this responsibility for years to come. Also arriving alongside this map expansion is the Farm Machinery DLC pack. These contain brand-new cargoes about farm equipment and we got new tractors to look forward to. As Kansas - the Sunflower State - is a major purveyor of agriculture, it makes a lot of sense to bring about new equipment. Will all of this be put together? If I see them, I will add them. Let us ride together, and carry on, my wayward son. Addendum: I am acutely aware that this state does have Missouri welcome signs, but unless otherwise officially announced and developed, any submissions to a "Missouri Welcomes You" sign will not be accepted at this time. Thanks for understanding. -- Last edit: 2023-12-01 05:33:37 |

vocal95 photo_librarymode_comment 2023-08-19 13:53 | Vxctec wrote First, I suggest that you do research on cars where the tailgates open up with the rear window and are still branded as sedans (Volkswagen Arteon, Kia Stinger). I don't care what marketing departament says, Volkswagen Arteon is NOT a sedan, neither is Kia Stinger. If rear window opens with trunk lid - the car is not a sedan. Vxctec wrote Second, what makes you think that the Model S is primarily marketed as a full-size electric sedan? Why is it's competition such as the Lucid Air, Mercedes EQS, E-Tron GT etc, come in the form of sedans only? Lucid Air is a sedan, trunk lid opens without window techcrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/IMG_2619.jpg Audi E-tron GT is also a sedan cdn.businesstraveller.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Audi-e-tron-boot.jpg But Mercedes EQS is actually a liftback, NOT A SEDAN www.autocar.co.uk/sites/autocar.co.uk/files/images/car-reviews/first-drives/legacy/80-mercedes-eqs-official-reveal-images-gk-boot.jpg Vxctec wrote Third and finally, what do you say about all these sites that consider the Tesla Model S practically being a sedan the way it is These sites might be simply parroting marketing BS. As I said - if the rear window is part of a trunk lid - that's NOT a sedan. Period. You can have car that looks like hatchback yet still a sedan (like Opel Kadett D or Fiat 127 - hatchback versions are more famous but sedans existed as well) upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d4/Opel_Kadett_D_mit_kurzer_Heckklappe.jpg On the other hand you can have a car like Skoda Superb III that looks like a conventional sedan (3-body styling), yet being a liftback because the trunk lid opens with the rear window. Tesla Model S doesn't even has that type of conventional 3-body styling, and the trunk opens with rear window - it is NOT a sedan. Manufacturers probably advertise cars that aren't sedans as "sedans" because that sounds more luxurious and fancy but just because marketing departament invented some mumbo-jumbo doesn't make it true.
