SizSkiizd photo_librarymode_comment 2016-09-06 18:34 | Mark0 a écrit In reality it was 90/110/127 from 1983. They become Defender in 1990. I know - but they're practically the same vehicles. They were simply named Defenders in order to follow suit with the Discovery, launched a year prior. |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-09-06 18:22 | Tuppence870 a écrit Looks like somebody needs to brush up on their car history. The Defender comes from a line of vehicles that began in 1948 with the Series I and remained basically unchanged until it was discontinued in 2016. In 1968 it was the Land Rover Series IIA, which looked like this - not exactly a far cry from what rolled off the production line less than a year ago. Although the car in the image looks more like a Mercedes-Benz G-Klasse, which began production in 1979... Needs to be renamed into Land Rover Series IIA then, the Defender name wasn't used until 1990 -- Last edit: 2016-09-06 18:23:27 |
Mark0 photo_librarymode_comment 2016-09-06 18:22 | SizSkiizd a écrit Not me. I'm obviously referring to the REAL Land-Rover Defender, which was launched in 1983.... In reality it was 90/110/127 from 1983. They become Defender in 1990. |
Speedevil photo_librarymode_comment 2016-09-06 18:01 | How can you tell it's a modern Defender? That thing looks like any all terrain utility car, and they have always looked similar, even since the 40s. |

The first time Land Rover officially sold Defender in the States were back in 1993, 25 years later than the setting of Mafia III. |
