| Seems right. Could a moderator change it? | |
| So the make should be "Land Mobility Technologies" and model "AHSVS"? | |
| definitely not made by Mercedes, only based on it, they arent making armoured vehicles, according to wiki "Actros Armoured Heavy Support Vehicle System is a military armoured truck using the civilian Actros platform with a protected cab developed by Land Mobility Technologies in South Africa" | |
| Indeed, and the AHSVS is an armored version of the Mercedes Semi truck: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_Actros#Variants So it should be listen in as AHSVS. | |
Kane is right, it's actually a Mercedes-based logo![]() | |
| I think yes. So make is Land Mobility Technologies and origin Germany? | |
| The protected cab was developed by Land Mobility Technologies (www.lmt.co.za/product_cab.htm), in cooperation with Composhield (www.composhield.com/). From what I've read the cab was developed FOR Mercedes-Benz, so perhaps it should still be Origin: Germany? | |
| carcrasher88 wrote Front badge is more Renault-like than Benz. Still, the vehicle is a near perfect match for an Actros-based AHSVS. The question is...developed in South Africa, in cooperation with a company from Denmark...does that make it Origin: Germany or Origin: South Africa? And what's the make? | |
