And it was made in Belfast, in a time when it looked more like downtown Baghdad.

"You may see a few 1983 models because Consolidated International bought up the last batch of cars after the DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt and sold them as 1983 models, but they're really just re-VINed 1982 cars. About 9000 cars were made, and appoximately 6500 are still around."
