    From what I found, there is (yet) no pubic prototypes of the arcade version

    There is no mention of these cars on The Cutting Room Floor.
    There is a prototype of this game on hiddenpalace.org that might have one of these cars hiddenpalace.org/w/index.php?search=california+speed&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Go

    Some games of this page its incomplete and some don't was created, that prototype its for N63 or Arcade?

    Looks like these cars got cut early in development, however the screenshots got reused as promotional images, altrough thats just my guess.
    The Countach probably got replaced with the Diablo
