![]() Porsche 911 R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | Keitanyan wrote Fun fact: According to Ridge Racer lore, this car is actually front-engined. Also, the Terrazi Troop's official 3D rendering looks closer to a Mitsubishi FTO than a Porsche. A render is irrelevant; it's about how it appears in a game. How is it you leave for years then come back and still try to make the same dumb edits that you used to?

![]() Jaguar E-Type R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | This one probably actually is 280z s30: i.redd.it/c0lmmeobux521.jpg This one is 280z from real mid night club in japan called the real "devil Z" and this car in game is most probably referencing to the real one with that bodykit. In japan its a legendary car on tokio / wangan freeways. IMO in game car is much closer to that "devil" 280z than to e-type (okay rear looks like e or f type) but 3/4 of the car looks pretty much like that 280z with bodykit.

![]() Toyota MR2 R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | You really need to get over this fixation with the fake brand name's country origin. Just because the car has a fake italian name doesn't automatically make it an italian car, same goes for other Ridge Racer cars. ![]() Made for Game Three-wheeler R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | The following is a translated transcription of the car featured in the Japanese Ridge Racer Type 4 - Namco Official Guide Book R4: Fusion work with a motorcycle that cannot be imitated. This Wildboar is nicknamed "a tricycle that runs on a circuit" with a unique design that can be seen at a glance. Starting from a motorcycle maker, only Terrazi, the world's number one motorcycle maker, may have been quite natural to merge a motorcycle and a race car together. It is a famous story in the racing world that Mr. Shoichiro Teraji, who is not bound by anything, said "You can use your head while you are young," and the engineer created this Wildboar in response to that word. Like with the Rumor, the mid-positioned engine will grow with each stage, and you want to continue riding across stages. It's a machine that makes you feel like that. -- Last edit: 2023-02-16 11:44:13

There are countless features of this Estasi, such as a low and calm body, a flowing front line, a wing that doubles as a center door and a huge rear wing that is extremely effective. However, the characteristic of this car is its engine, which has been honed to an artistic level. It's a horizontally-opposed engine that tends to cause troubles due to its peculiar delicacy, but now that it has been dispelled by the Rondine and Aquila, which is talked at numerous competitions, so there's nothing to worry about. On the contrary, the 16 horizontally placed cylinders have a total displacement of 5,200 cc, which run much smoother than expected and surprisingly deliver 1200 hp. It's such a masterpiece car that can be said to be one of the answers of Assoluto. -- Last edit: 2023-02-16 11:35:06

![]() TVR Speed 12 R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | The following is a translated transcription of the car featured in the Japanese Ridge Racer Type 4 - Namco Official Guide Book R4: Japan's proud high economic growth machine. From now until about 20 years ago, foreign cars in Japan were American cars. This Cowboy was made as a racing car with the concept that all Japanese products were made to "catch up and overtake the United States". Cowboys have a job to chase after cows. This machine was named with the meaning of chasing a delicate American rate (cow), but in fact, the nickname of Lizard Burton, the president of Lizard, was also "cow", and it became a hot topic in the racing world for a while. The engine is an NA (naturally aspirated) V6 3,000cc engine that Terrazi is good at along with the in-line 4 cylinder and it is also a feature of this machine that it has an FF layout, which is rare in racing cars. -- Last edit: 2023-02-16 11:41:43
![]() Bugatti 110 PM1 R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | The following is a translated transcription of the car featured in the Japanese Ridge Racer Type 4 - Namco Official Guide Book R4: A packaged racer with a futuristic form. Due to its futuristic for and horizontally opposed 16 cylinder engine, the Rondine seems to be a typical italian sports car. However, its weight is unexpectedly heavy for that, so its maximum speed and horsepower are both a little unsatisfactory compared to its displacement. The Rondine seems to be Assoluto's latest model from its new design, but it is actually a surprisingly old model instead. Eventually, the horizontally opposed engine, which is synonymous with Assoluto, was installed for the first time on this car and after being trained in races with other machines, it was inherited by the Aquila and other Assoluto models. -- Last edit: 2023-02-16 11:35:57
![]() Alfa Romeo SZ R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998) | The following is a translated transcription of the car featured in the Japanese Ridge Racer Type 4 - Namco Official Guide Book R4: Terrazi thinks it's a big American car. Terrazi, who succeeded in entering the North American market with the Troop, made this Capital for the first time at a local factory in the United States. The wheelbase is an American car itself. There is only a machine dedicated to the Final GP and its potential is as high as the real American and its appearance is like "Simple is Best" American. However, this Americanized machine also has the traction of "fast grip running" and cornering requires running with tires stuck to the ground. You want to enjoy what Terrazi thinks of America. -- Last edit: 2023-02-16 11:33:32
