I think this is meant to be a Porsche 962. This car is very reminiscent, to me, of the Assoluto Ghepardo from Rage Racer (www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=31765). The headlight setup, meanwhile, may have been inspired by the consulier gtp but inverted.
