Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Appears to be fitted with five-spoke AMG wheels, sold with the AMG exterior package since April 1997 in Japan.
Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | This is a 1996+, which is when the 20v Turbo was introduced.
Peugeot 306 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Much like the 206, this is also a UK-spec car as GTI-6 is the name for the S16 over there.
Opel Astra Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Chapter 3? I've got it from Chapter 1's special race. I guess every MSR copy is personalized
Audi S3 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Horsepower figures are incorrect: the 178hp engine was only on the A3. A 1999 Audi S3 should have 207hp.
Renault Clio V6 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | This is the 1998 concept car, not the production model.
Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Entry complete. The PAL version has most cars right hand drive with London license plates, while the NTSC-U version has cars in left hand drive with California plates.
Toyota Crown Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Shouldn't it be -ii at the end? There are no characters that mean it's -ie in the showroom name.
Honda S2000 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | The rear shot has the black bars that I forgot to crop. Replacement: i.imgur.com/LOSeMaQ.jpg

Opel Speedster Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | First ever production Speedster in a videogame.
Vauxhall VX220 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | A re-skin of the existing Speedster, and it does not have a VX220 badge at the back.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Game says 1999, but it isn't. In 1997, the Eclipse had a facelift, and these five-spoke wheels are from a facelifted model.
Mazda RX-7 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Colours are from a 1998+ RX-7, though the body is of a Series 6 (1992-1996).

Mazda MX-5 Miata Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | This car shares the same model as the EU and US names version. It's a duplicate imho ?
Mazda Roadster Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | This car shares the same model as the EU and JP names version
Nissan Fairlady Z Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | I saw the "Fairlady" plate, so it's a Fairlady Z, but there is also a 300ZX (3 models in this car).
Mazda MX-5 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | This is an MX-5 in front view (view in the plate), there are 2 different model type: Mazda MX-5 Miata and Mazda Roadster. -- Last edit: 2020-10-07 20:35:38

Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Well, it's a fun sports car, like the Elise. And if even if they don't compete performance-wise, the Elise took a lot of attention away from other fun sports cars. -- Last edit: 2016-10-23 04:38:52
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | But it wasn't meant to compete with the Elise. As I said, it wasn't made for performance but for sensations. And since it doesn't even have a windshield (well, originally), it is probably funnier to drive than the Elise, even if it's obviously slower and heavier.
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | From what I could tell from reviews, the Spider was heavily outshined by the first Lotus Elise, which was released around the same time. (As was the Caterham 21 which might be even less known than the Renault). Some issues were its weight compared to the Elise, stock tires, lack of a decent roof and the gearbox. There was also a speedometer taken from the Twingo.
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Burn Rubber a écrit The sad truth of it is, that if it isnt mainstream it's worthless to game devs. Even just Roadsters alone could full up a book. Renault Spider, Rinspeeds (the car. Not the admin. ), That one Lotus concept from a while back, Opel Speedster, etc... Not really. They all need to have a lot of popular cars, but there are pretty often unexpected cars in racing games. Look at NFS 2015 with its 3rd gen Mustang, its '32 Ford and its Volvo 242, or even The Crew's C8 Aileron. How often do you see a Spyker in an arcade racing game?
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Yep, I wanted to check on Renault's site but they don't have a model history anymore. I guess they figured people who are interested by that already know better.
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | I can't find any official source, but people tend to put Renault Sport instead of Renault all the time while it isn't even a real brand. The French Wikipedia page calls it a Renault Spider, but the English page calls it a Renault Sport Spider. Also, they're all listed as Renault Spiders here. It isn't a bad car in any way. It was made for sensations rather than performance, but it's still faster than the Clio Williams which nobody ever say is a bad car. -- Last edit: 2016-10-22 16:53:49
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Isn't Renault Sport Spider the correct name?
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Yeah, that.
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Maybe because it isn't a good car?
Renault Sport Spider Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Why won't we have this in other games?
Alfa Romeo GTV Metropolis Street Racer (2000)
Peugeot 206 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | I'm guessing 1999 is when they came to Japan?
Alfa Romeo 156 Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | In beta version this one didn't have spoiler
TVR Chimaera Metropolis Street Racer (2000) | Something needs to be changed: 1. Chimarea to Cerbera 2. Coupe to Convertible Since it have Chimarea on plate, it needs to be changed as convertible (looks like it have hardtop), because Chimarea is cabrio only
