BMW 7 Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Burn Rubber wrote Well it'd be really boring to be a passenger. Plus if you notice a lot of people ignore dialouge in car driving scenes anyway. Which is why I take full advantage and completely trash his car on the way to the destination!

Craftsman Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Wouldn't it be cool if you could chop someone up with this by driving over them in it?
Ford Edge Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | This car is more than meets the eye. I have one of these in GTA Online. It is very fast and very fun to drive when it's fully souped up. You wouldn't think so just by looking at it!

Barris Kustom Industries Kargoyle Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | DariusPumpkinRex wrote Both this car and the Franken Stange are base off of cars modified by George Barris of Barris Kustoms. The Lurcher is based off of the custom Kargoyle hearse and the 'Stange is based off of the Munster Koach. Sadly, shortly after this update George Barris passed away 15 days shy of his 90th birthday. Correct. I actually got to meet George Barris around two months before he passed. Awesome guy. Very down to earth. Still wearing the bright yellow shop jacket and everything. His advice to me was basically to do what you enjoy with your life because there's no time to do anything else.
Dodge Charger Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Add. It. To. Online. Already.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Easily the most controversial vehicle in GTA Online and one of the fandom's biggest gripes. And in a game as expansive as GTA, that's saying something. Without getting too intense, basically the problem is that the driver cannot be neutralised without destroying the car...which forces the destroyer to pay the destroyed's insurance and, if done too frequently, will throw the destroyer out and into a sessions full of legitimate trolls. One way around this is to set a low bounty on a Kuruma troll. This will neutralise the insurance payout.
Chevrolet Bel Air Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | First, thank you for correcting me about the butterfly valves. Now for a super-quick review of this car. It looks awesome as is, which is good, because there are two hood options and one exhaust option. That's it. Blower drive pulleys move but butterfly valves do not. The stock velocity stack intakes do not have any valves. The rear wheels cannot be changed. They are always the "Five Star" wheels with massive drag slicks. Fine by me. Interior is unchanged from standard Beater Tornado. Engine is typical wedge-head American V8. Wiki says it's SOHC but the heads aren't wide enough and the spark plugs are in the wrong spot. It does however have drive sprockets that suggest it COULD be SOHC but, well it isn't. Car is surprisingly slow but responds very nicely to engine and transmission tuning. Brakes suck. Understeer everywhere. In conclusion: great fun, impractical, good for "punk" flavoured MC's but sadly little else.

Chevrolet Bel Air Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | This car is now available. It's $376'000 and is worth that price. You're gonna want to get bullet-proof tires, though. This thing is pretty much a Mad Max car. -- Last edit: 2016-11-01 12:53:06

Chevrolet Bel Air Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | ThatOneGuy wrote Actually, all of the accessory drives on the engine are animated. Since the Franken Stange uses the same engine model, it will be animated as well. It would be nice if they could finally update the bug catchers to have moving butterfly valves (the Phoenix in San Andreas had them for goodness' sake!) but GTA Online is more than three years old now and I doubt they'll do anything. I love this car, and I've been grinding like crazy to be able to afford it (since it's $378,000.) The special offer will give you 250k if you join GTA O somewhere between now and the October 31st. Cash will be deposited November 4th, so there isnt need to grind that much.
McLaren F1 GTR Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Yeah...that's not a total ripoff. Though, it seems rather obvious there is some F1 inspiration in the S7's design. The roof scoop, the hood scoop, the headlight shape is similar, though clearly not the same. It isn't right to say the S7 is an F1 ripoff, but it is definitely right to say that the car's design was at least partially inspired by it.
McLaren F1 GTR Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | What this conversation has made me realise is that the S7 is actually a total ripoff of the McLaren F1. But this is still a McLaren F1 GTR.
Ford F-150 Trophy Truck Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | If they were gonna steal the Contender from Karin, the least they could have done is give them this. BJ Baldwin signed with Toyota, by the way. The next "Recoil" film will likely feature his new Tundra.
Devolro Diablo Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | 'Tis indeed a Devolro Tundra. If I played on PC the first mod I would make (besides importing Online vehicles to SP) would be to nuke the Clean Rebel from the game and replace it with this thing. I would also tear the Vapid badges off and replace them with Karin ones. If it wasn't for that and the freakishly stiff suspension I might buy one of these. It sounds good, handles well, and it's really fast. Besides, the $250,000 price is actually realistic. They should let us paint with Line X.

Ford Crown Victoria Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | LeakyLine wrote If I'm not insane, on some models you can faintly see 'Police Cruiser' behind the 'Taxi Car' badge in reference to the fact that most Crown Vic taxis are former police cruisers. Are you sure? Cause as far as I know, Ford manufactured a special Commercial Taxi Package long wheelbase model of Crown Vic called P70 for taxi usage. Adaptation a former police cruiser for taxi would be pointless and unprofitable. Rockstar just reused police model for taxi and that's why there is "Police Cruiser" badge visible on the rear. JFK wrote I wrongly thought that all US Cabs are only yellow, because NYC Cab is so iconic and well known. In Czech Republic, Taxis are in normal colors (black, silver, grey...), or in "Elephant bone" color "Elephant bone" is just called "ivory" correctly in English. Chevrolet Bel Air Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Actually, rat rods are just hot rods with the restoration process skipped. If a crucial part of the car is missing (like a door), they'll take a rusty door off of a similar car from a junkyard. The parts on the to-be rat rod that are too far gone, they replace with clean parts. I think just the body, doors, fenders, etc are the parts that remain unrestored. -- Last edit: 2016-10-15 23:43:14

Chevrolet Bel Air Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | True, but I like the fact that it's inspired by the more extreme side of the rat rod culture instead of just being painted and patina'd up to look like a 'common' rat rod. These extreme beasts seem to toe a line between rat rod and Mad Max Apocalypse machine, and I'm a big fan of them myself. Plus, it's nice to see something unique done with the Tornado, following the lowrider version. For those curious, these are the kinds of machines I'm referring to... wheelsaddicts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ratrod-1024x576.jpg ...so it's not just something for the sake of reusing a model, but to actually acknowledge this part of the culture. But...I don't expect it to be cheap.

Cadillac Seville Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | I would like to see the Esperanto (which I don't think is based on a Seville, but never mind me) return although Roman's one would be weird. No, a regular Esperanto, maybe with that red velour interior from Roman's cab, would be nice though. GTA V doesn't have enough 70s-80s cars.
Cadillac Seville Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Burn Rubber wrote Roman's version would be redundant in GTA V. He was a local business in Liberty City. Well, all Roman's Esperantos has been destroyed along with his whole company building and first safehouse by russian mobsters in one mission. After some time he bought a new headquarters from insurance money and replaced Esperantos with Cavalcades. So we won't see this variant in regular form anymore. |
