Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR Project Gotham Racing 4 (2007) | Automotive Gaming wrote It's not a Super Sport. Mirrors are different on the SS. Only the first Super Sport has high mounted mirror for homologating, the 2nd one is using the normal mirror like the rest of GTRs www.thecarexperience.com/clk-gtr Besides it's clearly stated in PGR3 and 4 that this version is Super Sport and has 7.3L V12 with 720hp. -- Last edit: 2021-05-27 05:33:26

Still, I noticed we have these cars listed under both Barracuda and 'Cuda, like here: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=11110. So which is it? The high performance versions of the Barracuda are called `Cuda in this model from 70-74 . The more common and lower performance versions are called Barracuda .

Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Project Gotham Racing 4 (2007) | Sorry for the wall of text, this is from Ferrari's own website: "Early prototype examples featured a nose style based on that of the outgoing 275 GTB4 model, but the definitive style was a radically different and more angular wedge design, featuring a full width Plexiglass strip behind which were mounted a twin headlight assembly at each side, running into the wing sides with the side/turn indicator units. In 1971 this lighting arrangement was superseded by a twin retractable system, as changes in USA legislation did not permit headlights behind covers. As this model had been designed from the outset to comply with US legislation, due to the importance of sales in that market, the alteration had to be made. An alternative of fixed open headlights had been tried, but this upset the clean shape of the nose, whilst the retractable solution meant that the original profile would be retained, except when the lights were in use." -- Last edit: 2013-06-02 02:28:47
Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Project Gotham Racing 4 (2007) | Antti-san wrote "Early Daytonas featured fixed headlights behind an acrylic glass cover. This particular setup was completely abandoned in 1971 favor of retractable pop-up twin headlights due to new safety regulations in the U.S., which outlawed headlights behind covers." All that says is that the acrylic lights stopped in 1971 - the pop-up headlights started before that. This is the image Wikipedia uses for the 1968 model.
