Cruis'n Blast (2017) | I feel like the Arcade version and Switch port should have separate pages. This whole page is just a mess right now.
Cruis'n Blast (2017) | DonathanXVI wrote Sorry if the way I described it wasn't clear, but I'll try explaining it again. I don't know if this will help my case, but here goes. The player can choose the color of the car, but the look of the visual upgrades can't be changed. Oh, ok then everything's fine, I suppose. Go ahead and upload them. Sorry for any inconvenience. -- Last edit: 2021-09-24 16:58:10
Cruis'n Blast (2017) | Silnev wrote Well if the mods are uniform in their presentation then it is fine but if they need to be added individually then that is not fine. That's why the racing mods in Gran Turismo 2 are fine because they transform the entire car when you apply them with the only thing the player being able to choose is the colour otherwise other stuff like the spoiler, body kit and whatnot are chosen by the game. If Crusin' Blast functions like that then yes the upgraded cars should be allowed but based on how Donathan described them I said they aren't. Sorry if the way I described it wasn't clear, but I'll try explaining it again. I don't know if this will help my case, but here goes. Once you unlock each upgrade, the visual stuff is put onto your car. There are four upgrades: neon, decal, body kit, and engine upgrade. Similarly to #DRIVE, you are able to turn the visuals on and off. The visual upgrades are chosen by the game; there is only one body kit/neon set/engine upgrade/decal per car. The player can choose the color of the car, but the look of the visual upgrades can't be changed. -- Last edit: 2021-09-24 16:40:03
Cruis'n Blast (2017) | AyrtPR97 wrote Silnev, could you explain what does it make this game any different to #Drive please? Because on #Drive you basically toggle the different visuals (or body kits) on and off. What is really different for this game? Cruis'n Blast (2017) | DonathanXVI wrote Once you unlock them, the performance upgrades are forced on but you have the option to toggle the visual stuff on and off. I feel like it would at least be interesting to show off the full potential of the cars, similarly to the Max Coolness levels in #DRIVE. Plus, some of the Maxed versions are so outrageous, I feel like they deserve their own separate spots. Cruis'n Blast (2017) | RKDxNT3000 wrote The only difference between the animal cars and the main vehicles like the Corvette C8 is that they don't get decal upgrades. They still get Neon, Bodykit, and Engine upgrade. No joke, the shark's bodykit is a freakin' lazer beam a la Austin Powers. Same applies to all of the special vehicles. Basically, only the licensed vehicles have decals. -- Last edit: 2021-09-18 04:24:30
