with the fugly US-spec bumpers.
Front end bears a slight resemblance to an Austin K2 Loadstar - but it generally looks like a fantasy truck.
Actually it looks more like a VW K70 morphed into a generic pickup body.
Greyhound GX-1 experimental coach, same model here.

Yes, Corolla. | ||
Looks like a crappy render of a 1988-90 Ford Escort.
The usage of "made for game" is confusing, as the movie obviously came first and listing it as "made for game" makes it look like it was specifically made for this game...
1973 Ford Pinto | ||
... but why 1976? That was the last year they were made, makes more sense to list it by first possible year, 1969.
Yes. TR6. | ||
Not a Fairlane Crown Victoria (which was a coupe with unique roof and different trim) - but a more commonplace 1956 Ford Customline Tudor Sedan.
Front end is that of a 1960 Edsel. Unfortunately, the rest of the car is not.

Its intended origin shouldn't mean anything in this case, it really does look like a Mondeo. On the PS version, you pick this one from the menu and end up with this one in-game and vice-versa. As I posted on that page, it looks more like a Camry than a Mondeo (and the Japanese racer is behind the wheel), so I believe there's a mix up with these two cars.
Looks like a Nissan Z31 to me.
makkaraperunat wrote Now - who are you? SizSkiizd? I know he made a troll account for April Fools back in 2010. Gamer wrote There is no way in HELL that this guy is SizSkiizd. Yup. It ain't me. Just logged in to say this.
1987 model year all the same, though.
Resembles a late 80s-early 90s GM J-body, particularly a Pontiac Sunbird - I take the squished-in rear end as an artistic touch, no real car looks like that - and pretty pointless to have a boot that short when there's not even a hatch.
Renault Frégate, of course.
1982-86 Buick Skyhawk T-Type, no doubt.
Looks more like a 1979 Chrysler LeBaron to me.
This looks much more like a 1992-96 model than a 2002.
Mark0 wrote In reality it was 90/110/127 from 1983. They become Defender in 1990. I know - but they're practically the same vehicles. They were simply named Defenders in order to follow suit with the Discovery, launched a year prior.
Tuppence870 wrote Looks like somebody needs to brush up on their car history. Not me. I'm obviously referring to the REAL Land-Rover Defender, which was launched in 1983....
What's a Land-Rover Defender doing in a game set in 1968?

Maybe they got the designation correct, but the year was a pure guess, for sure.
... The whole paragraph reads: I can now see your link, but as it's simply a model car, it's not a reliable source. It's like the years for the cars in Car Town. -- Last edit: 2016-07-14 20:30:30
I'm sorry, but I'm only getting a blank page. My source is Wikipedia
I'm sorry for nitpicking, but there's no such thing as a 1959 L408. This name only appeared after the whole L56 range had been renamed in 1963. The most safe listing would be 1956 L 319 [L56].
