The 1962 Mercedes Benz L319, that is the car based on real fact. It car was from my city, Bandung. It car was an urban legend, called "Hantu Ambulance" or "Ghost's Ambulance". Parked at Bahureksa Street number 15, but now it car has been sold to classic car collector. Based on myth stories, it car was haunted by dutch colonial, some neighbour saw it car drove itself at night with strange sound like old engine, spooky horn sound and spooky siren sound. But in the real fact, it was just abandoned car since 90s until 2016 because the owner bought a new house in another city.

Maybe they got the designation correct, but the year was a pure guess, for sure.

I can now see your link, but as it's simply a model car, it's not a reliable source. It's like the years for the cars in Car Town.

Yes is a scale car, but a scale car is based on the real one.

The whole paragraph reads:

Quote In 1963 the L 319 designation was abandoned. The vehicles were now branded as the L 405 (diesel powered) and L 407 (petrol / gasoline powered). There was also an L 406 and L 408. This was part of a wider relabelling of the company's commercial vehicle range intended, for the initiated, to identify "weight and output data" in model names.

I can now see your link, but as it's simply a model car, it's not a reliable source. It's like the years for the cars in Car Town.

I'm sorry for nitpicking, but there's no such thing as a 1959 L408. This name only appeared after the whole L56 range had been renamed in 1963. The most safe listing would be 1956 L 319 [L56].

This is what I found, check it:
