Well nobody likes to be discredited on public, especially for something that happened so long ago. As I said, because the rear window has been shortened it can be confused with a Golf, but the door shape, roof... It's 100% Metro. The Golf was much more edgy in the design, while the Onyx isn't, like the Metro. The Golf has a pillar on the front side windows, the Onyx doesn't, like the Metro. The Onyx resembles to British junior banger racers, in which the Metro is popular. Also the Onyx has the side trim and scallop of the Metro. If you just look at the C-Pillar you may doubt, but play with the views on the loading screen and you'll see the profile, door shape, door handle, is from a Metro. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 18:51:58
I haven't been active in IMCDB/IGDC for four years or more, do you need to come up with something that happened four years ago to make your point? Also I don't think it's necessary to get rude. Honestly, play the game and you'll see it's a Metro. Calm down a little bit, this is just a forum.
I've bought the game and I'm 100% sure that this is an Austin Metro. The car is identical, except for the C-Pillar which is thicker on the Onyx which makes it reminiscent of a Yugo or Golf Mk1. The roof, the doors, the front quarterpanels, even the doorhandle is identical. The Runner is also very similar to the strenghtened Metros used at junior/rookie banger racing in the UK, and it makes sense because the developers (Codemasters) are British. The pictures might be a bit misleading, but play the game and you'll see this is 100% Metro. In fact I'd dare to say that since Showdown is made out of DIRT 3 leftovers, the Runner could be based on the 6R4, but this is just a suposition. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 16:30:32
Where do you find this? Once, I found one near King's Cross, but since then, they are all gone!
Corniche? | ||
Hay gente muy lista por ahí. Wow, cool history SWF. My game in that mission just features a blue Transit.
Not an Arnage, but a Mulsanne or a Turbo RT
Cool... finally a realistic F1 in Gran Turismo
And anyway, the front looks like a 25

You can't know exactly if this is a 3500 model. I think that with Rover SD1 is enough
Yes, but I mean in your garage
You mean Fiat 124, but this isn't a 124 at all. I think it's a Moskvitch

SizSkiizd a écrit Ok, sure sure, whatever you say. I'm only supposed to say what the car look like in my opinion, so if you say it's a 500, fine. I still think the 600 is the best Fiat ever, and the 500 is just horrible... I agree with you. Well, I like the 500, but the 600 is very underrated
HOW DO YOU GET THAT? | ||
Yeah, there is the Citroen DS, the SM, the Rover SD1, the Dodge Barreiros 3700 GT...
Ford Cortina? | ||
That grille was only available for 3500 V8 models, so definatley a 3500
And I second you. Definitely an Aveo
Yes | ||
I find this car quite beautiful. Oh, oh, I'm going for an aspirin

I've finally seen the light. Now i'm totally sure that it's an Audi 200 C2, look at it, it's exactly the same car: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4b/Audi_200_c2_v_sst.jpg
Yes! Finally a destroyable Prius! This is the first car in game that will suffer my punishment. The second will be the Eos if it is an Eos
Toyota Hilux? | ||
Shouldn't be a Vauxhall Omega since this is Britain?
I totally agree. Since I have played the game, it doesn't resemble to a Bel Air at all. It's more like a Chrysler product
Porsche 356 B Cabriolet
I think so, but there is another hot version called OPC (Opel Performance Center)

Beautiful car. Awesome graphics. Crap game.
Totally agree with you | ||
Never mind, with some maths I got the real 10000th car: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=10220
Again, this car has 4 doors. Maybe an old 3 series...
So which car is the real 10000th car?
This is IGCD 10000th car. Dahiatsu?
