When I drove it to LS Customs it said "Benefactor Alpha"?
1972 (sidemarkers, grille)
Could also be a 383 Magnum badge
In a straight-line it's not much of a difference - except that you can choose much wider tires in the back which has sort of a positive efect. But if you look at a F.A.S.T. or Pure Stock Muscle Car drag race you can see that the bias-ply tires are actually not that bad. However, if there's a corner... And oh God, don't even think about driving in the rain...
@ Mad Mike: Depends on the driver - 99% of drivers were quicker with a TF, the others (Dick Landy, Ronnie Sox and the like) could bang the four gears always so fast, that they were faster than an A-727 car by some lengths. But anyway, I drove a manual Challenger T/A and an automatic AAR 'Cuda in the Swiss Alps - those cars handle so great that it's just a pity, when you can't row that shifter through the gears! But of course, that's a matter of taste. And yes, Goodyear Polyglas are terrible to drive, but they just look so much better. I'd prefer it, if those were standard and you can upgrade them afterwards to radials like shown above.
Yes they are - so called steelies were the cheapest wheel option (often ordered because they got replaced immediately anyway) - in addition they got "dog-dish hubcaps" or as they also get called "poverty caps". Too bad the car doesn't feature correct redline-tires or some sort of raised white-letter tires.
Billboard stripe is finally correct matte black!
So many great US-Cars disappeared from FM4 and they bring back an '87 Firebird???
Would be great to get a COPO 427 Camaro...
Indeed - would be neat to have a Hemi Charger - but as they redesigned every car I'd have appreciated a '68 or '70 model instead of the overused '69.
Pure porn but: 1.) Why not a 4-Speed manual (who wants an automatic T/A Challenger or AAR 'Cuda?) 2.) Why does it feature those aftermarket white-letter-tires and not correct Goodyear Polyglas?
ZR1 | ||
Finally I can drive exactly my car in a game again. Last proper game to feature a '70 was GT4 (and in GT5 as a bad-looking standard car).
Those things are officially called "Funny Cars" since the late 60's...
Has the '71 fender stripes.
A freaking fast Camaro. Even beats the lot more powerful '13 GT500 on the track.
Gran Torino | ||
Yes, SRT8 392 Hemi | ||
EA can be lucky that Turn 10 isn't as bitchy as them if it comes to exclusive licences...
"mostly all cars in Forza 4 will be moved to Horizon" - That'd be great, just GREAT!
Yup it's about time they get white lettered (especially Goodyear Polyglas, Firestone Wide-O oval), redlines and whitewall tires.
@ TheHeartbreakkid15: That's a race car. And because every drag racer would repaint the car in it's style they just primered it (+ hood and fenders unpainted as they're made out of fiberglass).
Another Audi Prototype...
Maybe the only stock car in the world that was more unreliable than its race brother :-D
From the rear it's clearly a Galant.
Sorry but it's a difference if you're adding the pick-up and SUV version of a car or putting almost 50 identical cars, with different variations in it... Nice car and it's good that this is in!
This car is freaking fast. I just made a 10.2 run with RWD.
Too bad it's rated at 425 hp instead of ~650. But holy cow, that sound is freaking awesome!
Oh that's really nice! A friend of mine owns a '70 Hemi Charger in FC7 excellent car. My dad used to own a Six-Pack model. Yes, they really put some nice new Muscles into it!
But not a '70 Chevelle. Looks more like a '65 model.
I hope they improved the R/T stripe...
I own a '70 R/T 440 so I can understand you. But I think we shouldn't bitch... The car list is awesome if it comes to (Mopar) muscle! And you can transplant a 426 Hemi into this one.
My favourite car... | ||
Can be doesn't have to. 440 'Cudas are also just simply called 'Cudas. So yes, you can name them "Hemi 'Cudas" but it's not the "only solution".
Wow, they really got most of the cool Muscle Cars!
It gets better and better.... best list of Muscle Cars in a game EVER!
@ ShantJ: The GS-X was a monster. On the 1/4 mile it was more than a second quicker.
f**k, that's sweet! | ||
I hope it's a Hemi or a 440 Six-Pack. Anyway: Jizzled my pants...
I think I'm dreaming! Forza I love you!
How sweet is that??? | ||
@ ShantJ: Yes the T/A was first available in 1969 (the only one for the first gen).
Really nice! | ||
It's actually a 1967 Camaro.
Why can't we buy the Vanishing Point Challenger... Too bad you can only drive that one in a movie mission...
Ascari A10!!! | ||
"Plum Crazy" was first available in 2010.
640 hp | ||
Different things: 1.) The front DID change in '68 to '69 (details like the Pontiac emblem or the turning signal lights) 2.) There was no '69 Challenger 3.) The paint scheme comes from the '69 Charger "General Lee" from Dukes Of Hazzard" 4.) Front = '69 GTO, Rear = '70 Mustang
Bizzarini GT Strada |
