I guess so? They rely on an external power source but they still have their own motors, like electric trains.

It's just Alliance/Republic logo

Even if the logo is the only physical difference, it still counts as a different texture, and they have different in-game display names, which is enough to warrant two entries in most cases.

It's around a 50/50 split, but personally, seeing as the game page already has four Honda Life Step Vans listed, I would list this as the BV-206 just for the variety.

Looks like it might be a custom made prop vehicle (or CGI), as I can't find a close match for a real-life vehicle. I did find that they reused the prop (sans proton gun) in a show called The Rookie: Feds though. Annoyingly, neither the IMCDB pages for that show or Ghostbusters list it.

It's hard to tell, as it's a low-quality 2D sprite that flies outside one of the levels, but on second thoughts I think this is actually supposed to be the Z-95, as it only seems to have one pair of wings.

This is not Big Boy, it has a 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangement, this one has a 4-8-2 setup

I wouldn't use the wheel arrangement as gospel when it comes to IDing - the game's Mallard has an extra pair of driving wheels. I think it's fair to say that the Big Boy is the inspiration, even if they've taken creative liberties.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (2022)
Appears on the game's boxart, but never actually appears anywhere during gameplay or cutscenes, unless I missed it. However, the boxart is used for a brief loading screen when you start the game, which I guess counts for an entry.

I've found a PDF of illustrations of dozens of 4-4-0 locomotives from the 1850s, the Lowell Machine Shop 'Columbia' on page 21 is a very close match. The only thing that is putting me off IDing it as that is the name - it doesn't make sense that they'd just pick the name 'Rensselaer' out of thin air, when most of the other trains in the game use their real names. I do have a feeling that somewhere out there, in some obscure reference book, there is probably a real locomotive called the Rensselaer (or one from the Rensselaer & Saratoga Railroad) that is a perfect match.

As the current site design has some... inconveniences, and one of them is "unknown" entry rendering up only a limited number of vehicles to identify, may I be bold and offer few ideas? For example, there are many entries of unrecognizable junk vehicles and debris. Like www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=283913 and www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=286154 - rusty frames, rotten beyond identification. What if there's a separate Debris "make"? That'd help to loosen up the unknown vehicles section.

The same I'd wish to apply for pixel/voxel cars and maybe hand-drawn vehicles, but I don't think those ideas would meet any quorum.

For most of the examples you described, if a vehicle model is too low-quality to possibly identify, it can be listed as Made for Game.
