So did Gran turismo 2 from 1999...
This front end was used on the 2002 and 2003 ETCC works cars, so it's either an 02 or 03 car

Auto-Friki wrote And last but not least, the engine sound does not sound like a V6 should be, but rather sounds like a 6-cylinder Boxer in the style of Porsche. Auto-Friki wrote This car got to participate officially in Group B? As 1986 was when Group B was demolished (Supposedly), I don't know if this car got to participate. The S1 E2 made its debut at the 1985 Rally Argentina, with Stig Blomqvist driving. This variant was successful in the rally circuit, with Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer winning the 1985 San Remo Rally. A modified version of the E2, was also driven by Michèle Mouton. The S1 E2 would become the final Group B car produced by Audi, with the works team withdrawing from the Championship following the 1986 rally in Portugal. The final factory cars of 1986 were rated at 600 PS (441 kW; 592 hp) -- Last edit: 2021-09-27 18:51:23
Great to see it in, just sad that they used the sound from the older Group A Subarus for this car, when it in real life had a very different sound, due to the fact that Subaru dropped their unequal lenght exhaust headers that gave that awesome boxer rumble, for equal length exhaust headers, which gave more power, but also made it sound more flat. Dirt Rally 2.0 got the sound right WRC Car from 1997-2000, with Equal lenght exhaust headers : www.youtube.com/watch?v=cftTBtoo4dE Group A car with unequal length exhaust headers : www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TfmmfUwby8&t=72s -- Last edit: 2021-09-18 17:42:16
Forza Horizon 5 (2021) | carcrasher88 wrote Repeating my previous comment on here... The list is incomplete, they'll be updating it over time, leading up to release. It even has a 'last updated' date above the list itself on the Forza website. The chances that all of the manufacturers not currently on the list not being in the game are slim to none. There's even footage from PG of a BMW being recorded for in-game vehicle audio, as well as a Lancia Stratos. Quoting directly from the Forza website... "...but stay tuned, because this isn’t the final list for launch date. We’ll be expanding it with even more cars and manufacturers in the weeks leading up to Nov. 9, so be sure to check back regularly for all the latest updates." Honestly, it shouldn't be necessary to constantly remind people about this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8CxvBkfJ7k
Forza Horizon 5 (2021) | With 30 car brands from FH4 missing in FH5, like Bmw, Alfa Romeo, Mazda and Bugatti this game looks less and less interesting with every update, will be the first Horizon game that i won`t buy.
Coronet Superbee 1970, my favorite year of the Coronet, love the split grille
Just hope for a 1,9 GTI version as well
Once driven by the legendary rally driver Colin Mcrae in the Paris-Dakar rally. Has a screaming v6 engine under the hood, hope it will sound good in the game as well

Awesome, love these cars, first car with disc brakes, hydropneumatic suspension, which you could raise or lower from inside the car, headlights that moved with the steering wheel, and a very aerodynamic bodyshell as well A true legend

Group A world champion in 1986, yes there were a Group A championship in 1986, alongside the Group B monsters.
carcrasher88 wrote Kitcar should be in either the name or additional info, as there was an actual rally kit version of the MkIV Golf, homologated for competition in 1998. Kit car in this term refers to the 2 liter fwd naturally aspirated F2 class ( Formula 2 ) the cars that competed in this class, were called kit cars. They weighed less than 1000 kgs and had around 280-290 hp, and was a good match for the 4wd Wrc cars on tarmac rallys, and Citroen actually won 2 outright wrc events in 1999.

I made a mistake, and i hope we are ok with that, we all do that. Sorry.
The M3 GTR came about because, when Bmw was racing in the American Le Mans series in the early 2000:s, they first used the M3 with a 6 cylinder engine, but they needed more power, so they developed a V8 engine instead, but then Porsche protested, because Bmw had no V8 M3 road going counterpart, so they made this special M3 GTR with a 4 liter v8 engine for road use.

Awesome car, just a shame, they did not give it a realistic engine sound, this sound more like a constantly backfiring v8 diesel in the game sadly, and not like the thundering v10, it should sound like, strange since Forza use to be very good at engine noises.
This thing sounds awesome, that V8 just screams
If you wanna buy this in the auction house, be prepared to pay around 5 000 000 cr...
You rev'er around the corners and drive her straight sideways 😆 Greatest rally car ever made, not a striped up version of the road going Escort, but a proper Group 4 rally spec Escort, the members here really need to take a look at ralying history before making comments like that. -- Last edit: 2020-10-08 14:43:41

Fisico9798 wrote @Ryan2t4 This is definitely the Celica GT4 WRC car. The Celica GT4 was not built to the WRC-car rules, but to the older Group A rules, so it was not a WRC car, but a Group A car. The Celica was replaced by the new Corolla Wrc car in 1997. The Wrc car rules was introduced in 1997, and meant that the rally cars did not have to look exatcly like their road going counterparts. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Celica_GT-Four
Will we ever get the 5-speed manual version of this car in the game, instead of the boring 4-speed auto ???
Just a shame that it sounds just like the other cars in the V8 Supercar-series, when in real life, it sounds very different, thanks to it's 180 degree flat plane crankshaft. Here is a video of it in real life : m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMe3nGrsl8s -- Last edit: 2020-08-07 17:01:39
