Could someone remove the '-' from SRT-8? This version is simply SRT8. www.dodge.com/en/2012/charger/ Look at the model list, and it clearly says SRT8, just like the new 300 SRT8.

I actually agree. It looks much more like a Chrysler product than GM.
Headlights look KW, grille looks Freightliner...
Wow, talk about out of proportion! That bus is like...3-4 times taller than the car next to it, when it should only be twice as tall. -- Last edit: 2012-06-21 20:33:21
Boxer? (but with 4 less wheels) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxer_%28armoured_fighting_vehicle%29 -- Last edit: 2012-06-20 17:36:10
Looks absolutely nothing like a LoneStar. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3f/InternationalLoneStar.JPG That's a LoneStar. Still, could be a different International. Maybe an MXT-MV? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_MXT-MV

What about the US market [E120]? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9c/2005_toyota_corolla_s_rear_left.jpg Both this car and the one in the link above have 2 round lights (one indicator, one reverse), maybe that could match? Also, you can't list a Corolla Altis as made for USA, since it was never specifically sold here. -- Last edit: 2012-06-19 17:23:39
Indeed, specifically, these would be the GSB (Gold Sawblade) ones.
I think I've found it! It's the 1996 Ford Adrenalin Concept: blogs.cars.com/.a/6a00d83451b3c669e20115714877cc970c-800wi
Turns out, the livery on this car wouldn't be released until a year later, as part of the Wal-Mart exclusive 'Hot Wheels Black Friday 10-Pack' of 2008. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Muscle_Tone
Definitely an original HW design, not directly based on anything in particular, this livery is the 2006 Off Road Warriors Gift Pack version. Also, even though the game says "Da Kar", the name is actually supposed to read "Da'Kar". hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Da%27Kar
Indeed it is based on the car from Minority Report. The HW Wiki even lists it as such. The car from the film is called the Lexus 2054 EV: imcdb.org/vehicle_2327-Lexus-2054-EV.html ...and this one in the game is in the livery of the 2005 White Heat Series, car #4 of 5 in the set. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Phantom_Racer
The Demon is based directly off of the 1962 Lil' Coffin Show Car. Here's the Lil' Coffin for comparison: image.streetrodderweb.com/f/15182243+w750+st0/0903sr_04_z+lil_coffin+.jpg hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/The_Demon
Here's the car's page on the HW Wiki: hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/16_Angels Yeah, it's a Jag. It's designer even wanted to call it 'E-go Type'.
Well, considering that Muscle Tone was apparently featured in GM Hi-Tech Performance magazine as a replacement for the old 4th gen Camaro (and it sort of does look like a Camaro), I'd say Bully Goat is more of Muscle Tone's (GTO) sibling.
The second casting to bear the Cool-One name, this 2004 Mark Jones creation is a well known model, that remains in the HW lineup to this day, and is in fact one of this years Code Cars. This model seen here bears the 2006 Urban 5-Pack livery, one of only 2 Cool-One (2004) castings to be produced in China, instead of Thailand or Malaysia. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Cool-One_%282004%29
2007 Hot Wheels Racing Series car #3 in Metalflake Blue with white 10SP wheels. Modified Panoz Esperante, perhaps? hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Formul8r
Jack Hammer, another excellent creation by HW legend designer Larry Wood. This specific livery was part of the AcceleRacers Realm Series in 2006, after debuting a year before as part of the AcceleRacers Metal Maniacs set. Honestly, I always thought this looked a bit like a '57 Chevrolet Nomad (although HW has (or at least had) a licensed '57 Nomad in their lineup). hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Jack_Hammer
The second HW vehicle to bear this name, this Rapid Transit was released in 2004, with this specific livery as part of the 2006 Bone Blazers set (2006 Collectors #084). To get the best idea of what this car could be, it would be best to go by the original 2004 First Editions casting, which shows it looking akin to a modernized '70 Plymouth Barracuda. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Rapid_Transit_%282004%29
This specific Spectyte (mentioned on the HW Wiki for it's part in this game), is the AcceleRacers Realm Series version, and this vehicle is notable for being started by one HW designer, and finished by another after the original designer left the company. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/SpecTyte
Introduced in 2006, as one of the AcceleRacers cars. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Chicane -- Last edit: 2012-06-16 04:30:26
Indeed. Bully Goat was HW designer Dwayne Vance's vision of a modernized Pontiac GTO. hotwheels.wikia.com/wiki/Bully_Goat
Well, the only reason it's Roewe, and not Rover is because SAIC wasn't able to acquire the Rover name when they acquired MG Rover from BMW. BMW had sold the Rover name to Ford, who in turn sold it to it's current (and somewhat reasonable) owner, Tata Motors, owner of Jaguar-Land Rover. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roewe So, basically, they would have used the Rover name, if they had been allowed to acquire it. Not their fault.
It's Charger Pursuit, not Police Interceptor. Only Ford uses the 'Police Interceptor' name.
Since there's not too much in the way if determining if it's a Chevrolet or a GMC, maybe it should either be listed as Unknown C/K or GM C/K?
Agreed. | ||
You and I both (and probably a good few others on here). Maybe with the option to put the front end and hood of the SS V-Series Special Editions (the ones with the hood and front bumper of the Pontiac G8), good for making a G8 ST replicas.![]() ![]()
I know. This should have been changed to Country Squire a while back.
Looks like a Brera to me.
Scania P-Series? | ||
2008-10 Ford F-Series Super Duty?
1973-87 Chevrolet/GMC C/K?
Judging by the name (336LM), and the way the car looks, I'd say Ferrari 330 P4.
Brasilia. Nice catch! ![]() Overall body matches very well, but still has little bits of 504 and 5 on it, but definitely Brasilia overall.
First thought with the original image was a KW, then an International. Now, with this image, I still think it might be an International (probably a 9000 series), but also possibly a Volvo.
Looks like a Yale to me. I've seen a Yale with that distinct rear vent design before (forklift-photos.com.s3.amazonaws.com/47.jpg), but it's got some black plastic design cues of more modern models.
Fusion of a Peugeot 504 and a Renault 5?
Looks like it might be a Chevrolet/GMC full size from the late 70's-early 80's, perhaps?
Another Chevrolet Caprice?
I think the ingame name (from what I've heard) is Onyx Runner. Anyone able to confirm?
Mach1Mustang wrote Reminds me of some of the old Land Cruisers that are so popular in Australia. FJ75, maybe? Makes sense, with a name like "Landraider". Makes sense, although, with the way it's shaped, the hood looks a little more akin to the FJ40 series, but could just be an FJ40-like hood added to the body of an FJ70/75. -- Last edit: 2012-06-12 01:07:03
Bucker or Rucker...something like that, I think... |
