The 100th Anniversary edition didn't replace this, they are still separate models that are purchased separately from what I can see. Also, the pics for this entry should be updated, since the model was updated. I'll do it when I got time. Anniversary editions like special versions are not duplicates. My pics weren't modified, as there's a entry on the dealership. Unfortunately these pics weren't updated at all. I don't understand why RushCars didn't bother with these when there was a major graphical upgrade in 1.40 beyond. -- Last edit: 2023-03-04 21:26:51

![]() Porsche 911 Need for Speed: The Run (2011) | From these old comments, this goes back to a time when EA wound up getting the exclusive license to Porsche. Also high on the dirty factor is that this model along side the Aventador is relegated to the Limited Edition version.

![]() Chevrolet Silverado American Truck Simulator (2016) | So this truck seems to be evolving as it goes, as the recent batch of WIP screens for the Oklahoma DLC have added several upfit combinations of the pickup. So far I've seen a farm modification, one carrying a boat trailer, and one used for general utilities. All of which will likely release in update 1.47, presumably coinciding with the Oklahoma DLC. Though sadly, each one will have to be individually represented.

![]() Ford F-1 Saints Row (2022) | WolfLover94 wrote I know right? Was the name Betsy too redneck or hillbillyish for Volition now? You wanna know why they changed it? It's because of political correctness and issues regarding anything based on the concept of Dixie names, or rather based on a certain flag. This all goes back to similar notions of banning the Confederate flag, since most people nowadays say it's a racist flag. Of course, it's a significant problem, what with these unnecessary changes. -- Last edit: 2023-02-21 04:16:56

![]() Saints Row (2022) | In the grand scheme of things, re-evaluating the concept would often mean restarting development of the entire game. Which could mean months/years of research lost. Game development is no easy task, especially when your project is a massive open-world game. Especially with games like GTA V and this entry. Constructive feedback is a healthy concern and it helps to the benefit of the developers. Sadly, too often it's ignored and sometimes it borders on the sarcastic. Volition is the problem because when fans took to Twitter to air out their frustrations (legitimately, because they thought it looked like Fortnite with crap characters) when the reboot was revealed, they outright attacked them, trolled them and put up GIFs like 'I think that's a no for me', and 'Haters Gonna Hate'. Does that sound like a good response to criticism? No. Similar issues in regards to criticism have plagued FH5, and rightly more so with the Dumbnut Media update, right up to the team leader departure. It's sad how the game industry is. Even though not every AAA title is bad, but too often the industry will chase these nonsensical trends and expect devs to do the work, all the while the publisher will set a hard release date. News flash: They're not robots! And setting a release date will send the dev team into a vicious cycle of designing, modeling, rendering and coding the assets, story, gameplay mechanics, etc. Once the game is finished (or rather often a starting point in live-service games), most of the dev team is either laid off or is in the long haul. Never work in the dev team, or perhaps have no dog in the fight. It's not a pretty picture. Sorry if this sounds a lot like nonsense, but it's kind of a concern. -- Last edit: 2023-02-20 17:20:04
![]() Saints Row (2022) | Sorry for doublepost and this massive wall of text (and I don't know why WolfLover's comment was removed, though I guess it was spoilers), but I wanted to give some insight on why I raged about how horrid the 2022 reboot of Saints Row was. I know SR had its fans, but its golden age had died off and we ended up with a shoddily-made reboot with little to no redeeming qualities. Let me explain in detail. Is it an okay game at times? Yes. But is it 8/10 worthy? No. Not by a thousand miles is this worth the 60 dollars it commands. Concept: When the reboot was announced in August of 2021, I, among many fans, were intrigued when Austrian parent company of Volition, Koch Media, announced during the Gamescom show that the Saints Row series would be rebooted and rebuilt. The idea that I thought was simple, a game that would do away with the Matrix-style vibe and go for something realistic, and a back-to-basics approach that resembles Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third. When the reboot was revealed, it showed some controversial ideas, making the game look like Fortnite and the gangs being some form of awkwardness. While I was reading on, the developers stated that they made the games using Hobbs & Shaw and John Wick as an inspiration. Needless to say that plan backfired horribly. H&S was miserable, and John Wick, eh, not good. Silnev was right in that regard, and hell it was true. The game looked like Fortnite and played like a second-rate indie game. Having the game take place in Santo Ileso was a good shot, but the map couldn't be worse. It looks like a more jankier Vegas with all the redeeming qualities removed. Characters: Brace yourselves on what I'm about to say: All of the characters in Saints Row 2022 are GODAWFUL. Yes. You read that right. ALL of them are horrible. I don't know if it's the hackneyed, unbearable writing, or the soupy, flat voice acting, every single character is an absolute bore to listen through. I can't even tell you how horrendous the voice acting is, and it's just as bad as Forza Horizon 5's writing. If these writers and actors should be shown the door, they should. The voice actors are worthy of tomato bombardment. Even Ubisoft's bad writing schtick somehow trumps this by a longshot and that's saying something. Graphics: They're just so awful. Even though I care less about the graphics, this is something I have to pick a bone out of. In this day and age, I'm aware that pop-in is something that happens, but close-up pop-ins of objects are criminal. Even the draw distance is so piss-poor that even GTA IV, a game that came out in 2008, nearly 15 years old, had decent draw distance. All I can say about the graphics, they're just bland. Gameplay: Awful. Driving physics are nearly comparable to Fast & Furious Crossroads (which is another travesty), the destructibilty, although impressive, is problematic to a fault, car damage is tied to health bars (also a stupid idea). The gunplay is particulary miserable, with floaty aiming and severly underpowered weapons (even the powerful ones aren't much better in terms of damage feedback and impact), and a severe inconsistency of hit detection (and just to throw salt in the wound, they even included a QTE aim bot!) The notoriety is butchered; you can easily clear it within a matter of seconds. You cannot pick up any weapons the enemies drop. The way a car collides with another car is wildly inconsistent and comical (side impacts instantly destroy a car). The AI of almost every human being is either stupid or oftentimes bumrushes to your position. Fighting foes is awful for all the wrong reasons, and for whatever reason they are the health pickups. Off-road physics are a pain get around. Navigating on foot is a chore. Is there any more? Missions: They're paler comapred to past Saints Row games. I have not gotten far into the story but I can tell you that these missions consist of extremely repetitive sidequests and boredom-filled missions. One particular sidequest that panders to the ill crowd is the 'Atcha missions where you piss off a gang's local establishment. They're terrible and it just serves to show that they're nothing more than killing off gangsters. Virtually every mission has no originality - it's like they just yanked out a damn archive of bad comedy and action films and forced them in the game. The ones involving the fronts could've saved it from being purely awful - but it doesn't. All it does is earn you passive income, considering almost nothing can be bought with money until the end of the game. Humor: Almost nonexistent. There's not a goddamn thing funny, clever or even endearing about any of these "character replacements". Morbidly awful if you ask me. There's only about two funny ones, and even one they just pulled from a meme. The story, or rather what's left of it is just another uninteresting crime story, just like the later seasons of Law & Order. Gangs: Awful. Marshall are chumps in soldier clothing. The Panteros' boss you can't even kill! Why?? And the Idols are all kinds of awful. I'd rather see a colorful gang over these overwrought "wannabe gangsters". Final thoughts: Is this what the 3rd Street Saints is supposed to look like in the 2020s? You kiddin' me? Nobody cares about Kevin's stupid wafflemaker or the cat. The parent company, once again, drove Volition to come up with this concept and it was a bonafide Luxembourg disaster. Apparently, balancing the comedy and seriousness is a war crime and therefore should never be mated to one another. The studio director even stated that, "the current social climate had outgrown the tone of prior Saints Row games". What?? What is he even talking about?! So you're saying they just claimed the past Saints Row events - the ones under the THQ era - have never happened?? Absolute travesty, and it was completely uncalled for. The game looks, plays, sounds and is a utter pile of garbage. Do not play this game. I'm sorry if anyone has contributed to this game, but I can't tell you why I had to write this. Final verdict: 2/10 (3/10 at best). -- Last edit: 2023-02-20 03:24:45
