Pretty much, they lasted like 2-3 months and you had to do all of them to get all the cars. They were also not cheap.

It's not a real concept car. It was a design created by a russian fellow. Since the game car is based off that design it get's labeled as Custom Made. There is no real concept car called the Lada Raven.

Almost like a self fulfilling profecy, I was the one who decided to take the bullet and post pics of that car.
Without mods the front looks closer to a 1980 Country Squire while the back is fully recycled from the '66 Vista Cruiser.

That wasn't really necessary Mcthieve. Speedfreak has expressed intentions to return to Saints Row and get any new vehicles that come about as part of dlcs.

On IGCD we list custom build cars, like this, by the year the build was completed. So in this instance this AE86 is based off a real AE86 that belonged to Shuichi Shigeno, the author of Initial D.

Hey man, make sure to include 'unknown' in the make section if you are unaware of the basis.

Also if you are going to list a vehicle as unknown you can't give it a country of origin.

Plasticbodypanels, interior shots like that are not required. Interior views are for games that feature an actual interior perspective. Typically unplayable vehicles don't have interior pictures.

You obviously haven't checked many entries then. Most monster trucks are listed as so. For the field to be blank means you changed it manually...so stop doing that.

Also when listing vehicles as 'Made for game' we include what kind of vehicle they are in the model field.

I just realised that the main images on here for the cut vehicles in this game are actually screenshots that I took for the Midtown Madness 2 wiki over 10 years ago.

There's also 2 cut traffic vehicles that are missing - the pickup truck from the first game ( igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=21859 ) and a minivan similar to a Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan / SEAT Alhambra)

Cool, you wanna be credited for these or would you rather get new pics?

Did you even read my post? The companies haven't been related to each other in ages.

Yes I read your post but the main point is the same. We only separate brands if the vehicles are made in different places. Because otherwise everything is consolidated under the same brand regardless if they're "not related".

Anyway I don't see the issue. There are more Triumph bikes than there are cars listed on the site. It's almost 2:1.

Something I've been thinking for a while, would it be possible to split Triumph into two makes; one that made cars and the one that is still making motorcycles? The two companies have been separate since 1936 AFAIK. It doesn't make much sense IMO to bunch them both under the same "make", when any company connection other than the name is long gone.

What do you guys think?

Absolutely not. We don't separate brands because they made one thing and now make something else.

Like for instance we don't separate Peugeot between when they made sporty cars and terrible cars.... :p

That's not how made for game works. A vehicles need to have influence to either multiple different vehicles so that no one vehicle can be id'd or be something completely fictional with no real world counterpart.

Idk if this counts, but you can access the airport early on game with the use of tricks and glitches. However going by that logic, shouldn't most sport cars, gang cars and boats be unlockable too anyway? You can only access them when you unlock the second island.

We don't really take that into account. I believe the other user meant like do you need to unlock the Dodo, since I think in some of the other GTA games certain vehicles won't actually spawn until you beat a specific mission and since you unlock shoreshide after a mission, that's what I think the intention was.

Any other changes in model are similar to the Duke where it's a removal of fenders or other incredibly minor changes. Never presented as separate vehicles, just options.

Ok, that's a bit too minor. Also presumably you can change them back.

As for the colours, unfortunately they need to be somewhat presented as different vehicles and not as just customization options.

It's a minor change, but the front and rear fenders above the wheels get removed with (I think) any size of tire above standard. The Duke is the only vehicle I know for certain has a change like that, but other vehicles might have similar changes.

With the colors the only one that has a different name is the Gold Standard, which is already listed as a separate vehicle.

Ok, so the fender thing is a no.

For the other ones, do they get presented as separate vehicles or are they just options for the vehicles that are already listed?

Mario Kart 8 (2014)

Some playable vehicles, such as the Duke, have their model change if you use a certain size of wheel. Should I add those images?

Also should vehicles that change color get additional images for each color scheme?

How drastic of a change are we talking? Could you provide an example (pictures)?

Unless the vehicles that change colour are presented as different entities within the game, no. Again you might have to provide an example of what you mean.

That's right, it's in a testing level which is only accessible with gameshark/action replay codes.
All the vehicles are there, including the railguns that appear in one of the ace contracts.

If a vehicle can only be playable via a gameshark code that does not quantify it being "playable".
