Glad to see this and the CRX in the game, its my favorite Prelude and Forza 5 needs fresh cars that haven't been in the series before badly.
Considering its a standard car, the polycount isnt that bad.
95-96, see civilian model.
95-96, see civilian model.
Side mirrors and rear quarter windows say 1995-96. No idea why that window is black, run strip should be painted and hubcaps aren't original ones.
Weird, the Sierra isn't in T10s official car list! Wondering if its DLC...
Impressive to see this one in the game already, considering it was revealed just about a week ago. Guess Sony had a deal with Bmw as well.
Im pretty sure a 3-door euro Fiesta ST would have done the job, too.
Why would they model a completely new Fiesta 5-door if they could've adjusted the 3-door model from the previous games and used their money/time for a completely new car instead?! -- Last edit: 2013-10-31 23:15:35
One of my favorite cars in the game, I dont like those stock wheels though. Also its weird that the c-pillar is black while the b-pillar is painted, no idea how someone could miss that. -- Last edit: 2013-10-04 21:34:01
You get one after finishing the Epsilon program should you decide against stealing the money. Barely makes it up the hill to Michael's house...
Love this one as well! | ||
Interesting choice, we need this in Forza 5!
Now thats cool, first ATS on the site as well!
Wth is wrong with those wheel arches on that model, who designed this?! -- Last edit: 2013-09-16 16:11:41
I know its a long shot but it reminded me of an '04 Altima. If its really the same car as the one with the rear end in the image above, it might be a mix between Camry and Altima, a generic popular Japanese sedan knockoff. photo.netcarshow.com/Nissan-Altima_2004_photo_05.jpg -- Last edit: 2013-08-15 18:19:29
Hahaha that name, oh the stereotypes.
Its not even a Tahoe because of the long wheelbase and rear door shape.
Theres no such thing as an E36 5 series, the E36 is the 3 series which doesnt have any resemblance to this. If you compare the greenhouse with the current generation C-Class, it will be quite obvious the model is based on it. A proper front shot would make it even clearer. abload.de/image.php?img=1212124ku6g.jpg
Not sure if there are any screenshots from the front, but its a current gen C-class. -- Last edit: 2013-06-21 18:01:16
2001 Mitsubishi Lancer base sedan with lightly modified indicator and grill. Look very closely at the door/greenhouse shape and where the belt and character line is located on both images. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/1999-2001_Mitsubishi_Lancer_(CE_II)_GLXi_sedan_01.jpg
No, there was a Cavalcade visible in the trailer somewhere as well.
Also seen from behind in another scene about one second later where it looks a bit more like a generic SUV. -- Last edit: 2013-04-30 19:13:33
Nope, 3rd gen Crown Vic, needs better screenshot as well.
BMW X3 with generic front, needs better screenshot.
As far as I remember this is a Volvo VN, not a Freightliner. A front shot would help.
sajmon14 wrote Looks like a convertible version of Crown Vic Agreed, it even still got the rear doors.
Most interesting vehicle in the pack, RX-3 comes next. Nice to see one added! The rest is just recycled from Forza4.
SizSkiizd wrote You mean '95-'96. You are right. I never noticed the 1994 Impala SS still came with the old mirrors. Thought that model year was the point where they changed them on all b-bodies. -- Last edit: 2013-01-08 17:46:26
Roadmaster because of the chrome/rubber trim running around the car. Mirros make it a '94-96. The trim pieces on the Caprice are a lot thinner.
Niiice, this and the '86 Civic are the most exciting new additions.
Like SizSkiizd said its a '95-96 because of the mirrors and rounded shape of the 3rd side window. They obviously used their Chevy Impala model as base.
Maltravers wrote I didn't say it's 100% ZIL, I said it's similar to ZIL. I need a better picture. And what is "socal"? Southern California.
Thought the same, but you cant really say for sure. Didnt notice the flared fenders first.
Whats the 4door behind the GT40? On a better pic it does look like a E46 M3 sedan to me. EDIT: Ah crap, just noticed they didnt start producing the sedan before the E90. Its the Evo5, didnt notice the spoiler. -- Last edit: 2012-09-07 20:44:51
Well, its very likely a traffic car, I wanna drive it myself though!
I was about god damn time! Now give us more S-classes, the 7 series and the Audis.
I like it, looks great in red with the black roof. Just noticed you could never order it with a black roof, looks great tho. -- Last edit: 2012-08-29 22:12:26
While Im not a fan of the 50s/60s content of the pack and Im not interested in racecars, I still think its a good pack. Thats also why the Vandura is my favorite car in the pack, another vehicle I wouldve never expected to see in the game
Well, Badned over at forzacentral said they changed half the carpack in like the last minute, that might be the reason why they didnt have time to create a trailer, and maybe photos of each vehicle.
Interesting to see they invested the time to include the Spyder, I wouldve preferred to see a completely new car though. Both the R8 and Agera wouldnt be reason enough for me to get the CE.
wat, how do you wanna tell its not just a second gen (02+) Escalade?
mr.mopar69 wrote Just another example of how Forza is ripping off cars from the Gran Turismo series. Lol wat. Just because its in GT5 it doesnt mean T10 is ripping it off!? Its a well known vehicle from one of the most popular "racing series" so its no surprise it would turn up in other games... T10 added hundreds of cars you wont find in GT, guess PD is ripping them off from Forza the next time?
lcpdcv wrote ....How can it not be the Lincoln ._. Its a bit too old. If it was one of the last 2 gens it would be my favorite. Also, I agree with everything said so far. The W140 is one of my favorite S-class vehicles, too and Id LOVE to see the first gen LS.
Same here, but kinda expected it already. Cheap way to get a filler car you can give away for free.
Favorite car in the pack
Yeah, Id say the missing fender flares make this a H2.
Yup. the rearquarter panels and roofline scream Continental GT.
Nice, great to see it show up in more games now.
Is it really a licenced model? That would be pretty cool, just wondering why they arent using more current vehicles like in Forza4. |
