Hmm...maybe we should ask Polyphony to put it in Gran Turismo 7...Kaz said himself in a interview that he'd love to have the fans suggest car manufacturers to put in their cars in Gran Turismo  Doubt it though...isn't Hino now just a truck manufacturer? And actually getting one for reference for is hard, since they seem to be a rare car.

I loved that segment from Top Gear, though I want to yell at Clarkson on how the Chrysler 340 isn't an engine that turns "torque into noise"

However, he says something different in The Sunday Times...

Jeremy Clarkson wrote
The engine was a Chrysler 6.2 V8, which turned money into noise but produced very little by way of power in the process.

He instead says it's a Chrysler 6.2...which is 380 cubic inches...oh wait CHRYSLER DIDN'T MAKE A 380! I think he meant a 7.2, as Richard Hammond called it in the review of a 1968 Dodge Charger he was driving.

Of course...this wasn't all Chrysler's fault. He continues...

Jeremy Clarkson wrote
...Which was probably a good thing, since the enormous live rear axle wasn’t really attached to the car in a way you’d call finished. And to make matters worse, Jensen would simply pop down to the local supplier whenever it needed a steering rack and come back with whatever was on the shelves. Some Jensens, by all accounts, were accidently sold to customers with steering designed for the Triumph Stag.

 That explains a ton. That is something he would say...after all he is Clarkson.

Me too. Unlike other Chrysler product rebadges, this one actually seemed different. You could tell this apart fom an Eclipse. Not like the Dodge Neon and Plymouth Neon, which were absolutely IDENTICAL cars. The only way to know for sure is to look on either the trunk or either of the front doors and see if it says "DODGE" or "Plymouth". And don't get me started on the people who remove the badges so we can never tell for sure what it is...

That's okay because there's soooooooo many 57's in pop culture it's annoying. Music videos, fake 50's pictures of drive-ins...ugh I hate that stuff.

People ask, "Is that a '57 Chevy"?

My dad always chuckles and then replies, "No...it's a 1955 Packard Clipper."

And the people are like, "wtf what the hell is a packard is that a chrysler product omfg no no it's a chevy"

But here's the trick. The Sims 3 is set 25 years before The Sims 1. Kinda a cool timeline lapse made there.

Sort of. This one's an exact replica of an 1957 Chevy, while the Sims 3 car is based on a 1958 Plymouth. But I can understand why they had to change it to a Plymouth in the Sims 3 (licensing issues)
