carcrasher88 wrote Looks more like a Chevrolet Chevy Van to me, especially with that fender mounted indicator and the shape of the fender badge. Yep, I've completely forgot about Chevrolet-made vans. Everytime I see an old american van I think about Ram Van or Econoline. Also there is plenty of motorhome conversions based on Chevy Van like this one: www.lensrv.ca/0201.jpg Never seen a Ram Van based motorhome however.
Looks like an old Dodge Ram Van based motorhome.
JFK wrote Is there anything that says it is a UK model? Nice suicide doors btw. Apart from a incorrect model name, manufacturer of Lada is AvtoVAZ (or VAZ formely) isn't it? So why Lada is listed as manufacturer? Or there is something that I don't know about this make?
Bumpercars45 wrote Im pretty sure it should be made in Australia for UK... "Made for" has been removed a long time ago.
Burn Rubber wrote Doesn't Brat also refer to a rank in military? It means a military child. Google defention: A military brat (colloquial or military slang) is the child of an active-duty military personnel. Military brats are associated with a unique subculture and cultural identity. It means "Brother" in Polish and some other slavic languages. Google translator also claims that Brat refers to a badly behaving child in English. I don't know if it's true or not but the small drawing on the poster above, just after "BRAT" kinda proves that.
Burn Rubber wrote If so it's name is Sysopt Well... Sysopt is the name of a developer.
But it's Stralis with Scania sides anyway.
Razor440 wrote I know this because my dad has one. In fact, it's on Wikimedia since he provided a pic for it. The Regal dosen't have retractable headlights though. By the way, this is the second first generation Dodge Magnum on IGCD. I've asked about the car in game. Rinspeed wrote To Razor440 and Burn Rubber, Stop posting big pics in your comments! So maybe you should edit their comments instead of deleting them? Now it looks like one big mess.
Razor440 wrote This car appears to have open hidden headlights. The 1978-1979 Dodge Magnum was known for having those headlights. There is no way, and I mean no way this is a 1971. This car has the looks of a late 70's car, not a early Monte Carlo. I understand you saying the tailights look like the ones from a 1971, but to say that the car as a whole looks like a 1971 Monte Carlo...or any 1970's Monte Carlo isn't true. But how do you know that this car have this type of headlights? The whole front is taken from Regal anyway. -- Last edit: 2016-04-06 21:41:17
JFK wrote Front is 79 Buick Regal, sides kinda match with Magnum. Kinda. But overall look of this car is really close to Monte Carlo. Especially the rear end.
Razor440 wrote EDIT: Uploaded better images. Also, can the car be changed to a 1979 Dodge Magnum XE? You can do it by yourself. Simply click on the "EDIT" button above, just under the year of listed car. Personally, I don't see much Magnum there. I think the best match is '71 Monte Carlo as suggested on this page: www.drivergarage.i8.com/NYCar.htm
J-2 wrote San Francisco car for PSX. It's PC version with "taller" front end. PSX version looks like this:
Razor440 wrote Ahh...good screenshots...much better. Those screenshots shows a playable version of police car with shorter trunk (looks terrible!) that is avaliable only during one mission in LA. The NPC version is slightly different. Also there is a NY version with closed headlights. I think we should make separate entries for playable version and NPC ones.
Razor440 wrote Okay...someone is deleting my posts. It happens when you post a big picture in your comment. Yeah, very annoying. You should also send us a photo of a rear. It only appears on PSX version as a standard NY car (if I remember correctly).
Razor440 wrote Ah...you people are funny guys. The GSX was never supposed to be the main car because Tanner was supposed to be an undercover wheelman. GSX's are pretty rare to come by and you might be a easy target if your sporting a bright yellow and black paintjob. The Superfly car at one point must have been a GSX but Reflections probably changed it not because of copyright issues, but because the GSX and the Skylark probaby looked too similar in terms of what type of car it was. I don't know why they changed it but GSX was a playable car in a alpha/beta versions of the game. It appears on demo released for PSX and a lot of pre-release screenshots. A replay with original Buick GSX can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvID3VcotJw Beware of ugly Tanner's beta face during loading screen... Also notice the beta police car. -- Last edit: 2016-04-05 18:21:48

Adrigaaas90 wrote Mercedes Benz Citaro? Citaro is a city bus while the vehicle listed here is clearly a coach. And it doesn't resemble Citaro at all.
AutoTracker wrote I used think of this as the much cheaper Chevy Barchetta or however that's spelled. The design seems similar, but it's a bit boxier. A reason why I thought Chevy Barchetta was because I see this appear mostly in Bohan, a.k.a. the Bronx, a more rundown area of the game where you wouldn't expect to see luxury cars. Chevrolet Beretta... So it's possible to meet some Berettas in poor US neighborhoods and they aren't always chambered in 9mm?

It could be another Hummer. Right?
Racedriver43 wrote Savannah. That's what it was called. "Savanna" more likely: gta.wikia.com/wiki/Savanna That was a really nice car in GTA:SA. However steering becomes really shitty after adding hydraulics. It's like driving a cargo ship with trolley wheels attached. Maybe this graffiti is some kind of a reference to this car.
Burn Rubber wrote This guy is literaly just... I don't know what. It's a generic low rider that isn't anything specific. Not a very generic. I see some similarities to '64 4-door Impala: www.thecairns.com/Impala/IMG_4814.jpg
Screw you igcd.net for deleting my comments. Again then: Tycek wrote No way in hell this is an US6. Everything from the ground up is REO and the only thing that was taken from US6 is similar shape of the glasshouse. The only things that are from REO there are the bumper, fenders and front fascia. The rest is slightly changed US6. Look at the shape and design of the greenhouse and the hood. They are much rounder than REO ones. Also the hood and windshield are sloped like Studebaker's. Solid roof rather than convertible one also suggest that this is Studebaker and the cargo area is taken definitely from US6 without any design modifications. Just compare those two trucks: REO M35 c2.staticflickr.com/5/4111/5175654772_b973fccdb7_b.jpg Studebaker US6 military-vehicle-photos.com.s3.amazonaws.com/6444.jpg Look at their overall shape and make your choice.
Looks like Studebaker US6 with M54/M35 grille.
shurr wrote Without dash, as usually named models of equipment of the US Army: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equipment_of_the_United_States_Army en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M35_2%C2%BD-ton_cargo_truck That's what I've expected. We must correct every REO listed on this site now.
It's called M-35 (with the dash) on the other pages. I don't know which name is the correct one.
Desscythe17 wrote Well I think you can stop, because I don't think any mod is going to list this car as either a Cube, xB or N-Box. Mods will list this car even as a Dodge Ram if you can proof that this is a Dodge Ram. So far Daihatsu Move Conte is pretty similar to this car.
Burn Rubber wrote You translated it too huh? Czech language is similar to Polish so I knew that before. Rooster is "Kogut" in Polish so as you can see, it's pretty similar to "Kokot". However kogut refers only to a rooster. You can't insult someone by calling him this way. -- Last edit: 2016-03-29 23:08:06
Is it real Magirus-Deutz logo on the front? It looks identical on this screenshot. -- Last edit: 2016-03-29 23:00:50
JFK wrote Funny name for those in CZ or SK that didnt grow up from puberty. Kokot. Translate it at own danger, and dont post the result here, thank you. It means rooster... And also something more funny.
AutoTracker wrote What about 1996-2000 Honda Civic? When I had the game on PC briefly a couple years back, I replaced this with one. And I'm thinking this is too small to be an Accord. But it looks nothing like Civic. Accord is closer but still not perfect match.
It's too big to be a Dodge. And only front fascia is similar. I would say it's modified Ultimaster Aeromaster or Chevrolet Step Van of some sort.
Nissan Navara from Orlen Team. Driver is Krzysztof Hołowczyc.
krq9 wrote That's the older bodystyle, from the 80s. Fits perfectly well in 80s to 90s setting. (1987 dump truck with the exact same cab: i.imgur.com/m5PFlHl.jpg ) The newer ones (since early 90s) look like this: www.ericsfirepics.com/CAN/Montreal_Salvage513.jpg So it must be something older than FL-Series. Why premium vehicles are marked as "downloadable"? That's a total bullshit.

Panzer... Panzer what? Looks like IV. And the full name is Panzerkampfwagen often shortened to Pz. or PzKpfw.
sajmon14 wrote well your sentence suggests that you believe those theories anyway, this car has no proven relation to the Monstrosity so we can't even say that it's "most likely it". And don't call me dumb please Read my comments over and over again till you get the point. And check the GTA wiki page listed above. I never claimed that this car is called Monstrosity but it can be possible.
Someone needs to identify the year and exact model because I'm not an expert in Rams. Also, should we add a downloadable star to every vehicle added after an official release like W900 or this car?
sajmon14 wrote We have no proof that its the Monstrosity so dont post such things I said "It's most likely a Monstrosity" not "It's definitely a Monstrosity" so please, don't be dumb.
On a GTA Wiki we can read something about this car: gta.wikia.com/wiki/Monstrosity "A vehicle seen on GTA IV's in game TV is based on the Mitsubishi Montero. This may have been a beta Monstrosity that was cut." So it's most likely a Maibatsu Monstrosity that has been cut from a final release of GTA IV.
Please, delete the dashboard view. This page refers to a non-playable crashed truck on a lowboy.
This truck is reused from Extreme Trucker 2: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=35803 Also we should list every Kenworth on this page as W900 not W-900. It appears to be the correct model name. This is how Kenworth lists these trucks on its official site. Same goes to other variants like T680 or K100.
FH12 or FH16. It's impossible to read it from the grille. |
