GSX's are pretty rare to come by and you might be a easy target if your sporting a bright yellow and black paintjob. The Superfly car at one point must have been a GSX but Reflections probably changed it not because of copyright issues, but because the GSX and the Skylark probaby looked too similar in terms of what type of car it was. I don't know why they changed it but GSX was a playable car in a alpha/beta versions of the game. It appears on demo released for PSX and a lot of pre-release screenshots. Solid roof rather than convertible one also suggest that this is Studebaker and the cargo area is taken definitely from US6 without any design modifications.
