This is an early 90s car, european. Looks to me like an Audi 80, last gen of early 90s.
KMiklas wrote This is not a Toledo. Not even close, the only similarities are rear lights, while the overal shape is totally different. I completely agree. This looks, at least in my opinion, as a Fiat Siena
This is a Ford Crown Victoria, 1998-2002 model year
All this discussion for see that it's listed as Seat Toledo.
If you say so... it should be changed into Dacia 1410 Sport -- Last edit: 2015-03-22 20:54:02
Chevrolet Monte Carlo, NASCAR edition.
Looks to me more like a Nissan Crew, used as japanese police car from 1995 until 2009. The opponent was the well-known Crown Comfort, made by Toyota. The place of the game is Japan, so I suppose that the police-car is a japanese car.
Looks a lot like a Lincoln MKZ, first gen from 2006.
sajmon14 wrote why changed to Renault? Actually, it's a renault, not a sport version of it: the Dacia 1400 Sport is different, at least in my opinion.
Renault Master, facelift of the second generation.
Ok, here is clear that the name of the car is Veloce. Veloce is fast, in Italian. As I said in another comment, the rear comes from an Alfa 155 and a Seat Toledo, while side comes from a Fiat Siena. The front comes from a Marea, but the overall shape looks coming from a Siena. I say Fiat Siena, restyling of the first generation I'm putting also a pic for let understand what i mean: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/39/Siena.jpg
-ax91 wrote It's a Pontiac Firebird with Mazda RX-7 (Taillights)... upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/1993-97_Pontiac_Firebird.jpg <- This gen of Pontiac is quite different from the unknown car that we're analyzing. The green car has been made missing the long nose, the spoiler put on the tail, the T-top. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5f/Mazda-RX7-FD.jpg <- Instead, the hood is quite long with a rounded front bumper. Air intakes are also quite similar to those of a RX-7 with, however, graphic limitations... Still, there are too much details that remember the RX-7 FD, so... I go with RX-7 FD
ItsaUserName wrote Zartex? Yes, looks almost same model...
Reminds me more a Toyota Corona '99 than a Corolla. EDIT: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fb/Toyota_Corona_Premio.JPG this is a pic of the Corona that I mean upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/55/Toyota_Corona_Premio_1998.JPG I find them very similar -- Last edit: 2015-02-11 21:56:20
Due to the front grille this can't be a Firebird. The nose of the firebird was also quite different, much more prominent. Due to the structure of the entire car, I would say... Mazda RX-7 (FD). Tail-lights also resemble those of the FD, IMHO
This is clearly a Ford Mustang First generation.
Looks like a Plymouth Cuda, 1970 model.
Headlights are quite different, the front fascia is boxy compared to the one of the Sprint, also bumpers are veeery different. The body in Warren's car appears to be bulkier, rear is different and misses the tail that Sprint actually has. Plus other minor differences, that's why I still think that this is a Uno.
tupacserbia wrote It's a Sprint. Looks nothing like an Uno and the game takes place in Oregon. The writers for this game were a bunch of Tumblr SJW hipsters, I don't think they had proper vehicle information in mind in a game like this. Even the steelies are off a Sprint. IMHO, the Sprint is quite different but everyone has its own opinion, so it's ok.
KMiklas wrote Very accurate. Thanks I'm glad you appreciate!
This sedan comes from early 90s. Someone suggested in the image Mercury Grand Marquis, though the entire front fascia comes from Caprice, or is heavy inspired by the '92 generation: notice the structure headlight + large grille + headlight. Also, the grille scheme is the same of the Caprice. Only the rear is inspired to the one of the Grand Marquis, using the black plastic part connected with the tail-lights that reminds to tail-light shape of the original Grand Marquis from '92. The body comes mainly from the Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis, with a little japanese touch: the C-pillar is quite bulky, big, and reminds to Accord structure that used to have the third window included in the rear door. Grand Marquis was, however, a luxury car. This looks nothing like a luxury car (plastic bars instead of chrome bar, some parts are quite anonymous such as bumpers and hood that miss lot of details that luxury sedan of those years used to have), so I suggest both Crown Victoria and Caprice.
Probably Warren refers to the original project of the Uno, which was meant to be a successor of Autobianchi A112. This successor was planned to come out under the brand lancia in 1979 but Fiat obtained the project and used for create the Fiat Uno back in 1983
victorvance wrote I thought of a Winnebago. I agree. There are too much difference with the Bounder
stryder237 wrote Chrysler Sunbeam? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Sunbeam#mediaviewer/File:Talbot_sunbeam_lotus.jpg Its a 1977 car, which would fit the games date, although it was never sold in America. Quite different from the car showed off in the game. I think we shouldn't care very much about what Warren said (the character of the game) since the car is not obviously from 70s, neither late 70s. That aestethic, those exterior details belong to mid 80s.
carcrasher88 wrote Oldsmobile Silhouette? Definitely, yes! This one, IMHO: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3e/97-00_Oldsmobile_Silhouette.jpg
t80bv wrote I think it's Dodge Dart'70 Agree.
A bit, yes. When I saw it for first time, I thought immediately to something like Mitsubishi 3000GT or Mitsubishi Galant MkVIII, due to tail-lights and body style. Still, it's too much hard for me to udnerstand what car is it
Quotex93 wrote The character who owns this vehicle (Warren) states it as a late 70s (1978) model. Then I don't know. I'm sure that the style of the car comes from 80s, due to the fact that it's using plastic bumpers, plastic bars at sides, big headlights, boxy style and the way the windows are made is a method used only in early/mid 80s.
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b3/Fiat_Uno_3door_Silver.jpg No, no, absolutely not a Fiesta. The first generation of Fiesta was born in mid 70s, while this car comes from 80s. The body is also quite different, bigger and with a bulky appearance. Headlights resembles those of a Sable, right. Though, I repeat, I still think this is a Fiat Uno, the one I'm showing in the URL image.
1986 Fleetwood Bounder?
To be honest, the front end and the greenhouse reminds me to a Fiat Uno though it might also be a Dodge Omni from late 70s. The fact is that the entire style of the car suggests that the vehicle comes from mid 80s. EDIT: With Fiat Uno I'm talking about the first generation of it: headlights and the whole body is actually the same of the Uno, with the only difference of tail-lights and the windows which are a bit different from the italian hatchback. -- Last edit: 2015-02-06 15:36:10
This is a F-150 | ||
Could be a Cadillac Sixty Special 1971 or a Fleetwood Brougham. I'm pretty sure this is a Cadillac, judging from tail-lights and grille. The windows suggest me a Fleetwood Brougham from mid 80s (possibly 1985). -- Last edit: 2015-02-06 15:11:43
I don't see any Dodge Intrepid here. This looks to me like a Nissan Altima MkII, with some details coming from Nissan Sentra B14.
Actually, that looks to me more like a second generation Nissan Altima.
Toyota Aristo first gen or Lexus GS '91. The style is the one of a japanese sedan from early 90s, just look the front end! The rear is the one of a GS, with tail-lights modified for resemble those of a Honda Accord from late 90s/early 00s. The entire body is the one of a mid-size sedan, I suggest Lexus GS '91/Toyota Aristo.
JFK wrote I guess that he is talking about that blue coupe, since it is listed as unplayable vehicle Whoops, you're right. Hard to define. From sides I think it's a late 90s car but the rear is quite more modern. Meh, i don't know what car looks like that one.
Attacker1997 wrote Volkswagen Transporter I completely agree with you!
If you're talking about the yellow car, that's a Camaro
The overall shape looks like coming from a mid80s car, while the front is a VW Golf Mk3. The body comes from a W201, I agree. I noticed only now the rear and how the side fascia has been made.
Style suggests me an old Japanese sedan from late 80s, like Toyota Camry 1986, Honda Accord CA5 1986 or Nissan Gloria Y30, at least I think so..
I agree: this is a Toyota Matrix. It's a compact MPV.
In the rear fascia, between the tail-lights, we can see the name, "Veloce", which means "fast" in Italian. This is probably a reference to the origin of the car, Italy. It's based on Fiat Siena for windows and side, the front comes fom a Fiat Marea/Brava and the rear is actually an Alfa Romeo 155 and Seat Toledo together, due to the tail-lights and the particular tail.
Ford Sierra, first generation? -- Last edit: 2015-02-04 19:07:21
We can say that from bumpers style this is an early 80s car. A 4-door sedan would be more like European rather than Japanese: in Japan the Nissan Bluebird had a longer tail than this model, so I'd say Volvo 345 from early 80s. -- Last edit: 2015-02-03 16:56:18
IMHO it's a Legacy first gen, the greenhouse is the one of the Legacy, as well as the boxy body. Only rear tail-lights and the tail-cut comes from the Camry.
IMHO this is a Datsun Sunny B310. The Darrah from Far Cry 3 was based on a Datsun, so I guess this is another Datsun. I see a big resemblance with the Sunny B310.
I agree with Daewoo Lanos. |
