Will be nice for the Ferrari 312 and Mclaren M23 to have some company.
This specific car, the R15++, was the final iteration of the model, and only raced in the 2011 12 Hours of Sebring, before being replaced by the R18.
(archived) | Interesting, the #17 DJR Team Penske Falcon was the one confirmed in this week's Forza Garage, but this one is clearly one of the Prodrive Racing Australia Pepsi Max Crew Falcons.
Actually the 1987 Lotus 98T.
It's a fictionalized version of a 2011-2012 Formula One car, this is just one livery that mimics that of Ferrari, there's a bunch that mimic the various real F1 teams available.
The Peugeot 408 SCB is already in the game actually, the Presteza is a fictional car created by Codemasters, meant to probably resemble the Chevrolet Sonic SCB that races alongside the Peugeot in Stock Car Brasil.
There's actually quite a bit changed from the 2010 concept. The mirrors are more of a standard design, the two front grill openings have slats in them, the exhaust system has been completely redone, along with the active rear spoiler, and it's been slightly restyled overall. Also, from driving it in game, it does feel a bit faster than the concept version.
That's the beauty of video games, you can take a real life failure, and make it better, simply because it won't break down on your TV screen.
Video game debut for it.
With the uncovered headlights and that number, this is likely the car that won both the 1972 24 Hours of Daytona AND the 12 Hours of Sebring, both at the hands of Andretti and Ickx, what a legendary machine.
I think it was sold off to either a private collector, or as spares for FIA GT3 teams who run the same car in a slightly different spec.
New it was B/11, but Lola models always confuse me.
Wrong, it's a B11/40, the new model for 2011 ACO Regulations.
It raced in the American Le Mans Series this past year at Sebring and Long Beach, the team went bust and sold the car off after Long Beach though. DNF at Sebring, 10th in GT class at Long Beach.
900 horsepower, four-wheel drive and a sequential manual gearbox, and now we get it with racing slicks? My god, this thing is going to be a beast, I can't wait!
General Dynamics M1A2 Abrams
Oshkosh HEMTT | ||
Drift fanboys rejoice, your constant whining and requesting in threads has earned you your prized chariot.
So many people, myself included, are posting on Porsche's official Facebook page about this. It's stupid that a horrid company like EA, who spits out such junk as the new HP and "The Run" or whatever it is, can hold the rights to such a great manufacturer, and refuse to let peopl who make quality sim racers like T10 use the brand.
A shame, with it's four-wheel steering and all, it might have been a fun car to drive.
Must be the Sebring car, judging by the 06 instead of just 6 on the side.
My best guess to connection is it's very similar to the "Family Truckster" wagon from National Lampoon's Vacation.
Yes, but you get Group B cars in awful graphic resolution, terrible physics and awful sound. Rather Group B only be remembered than be butchered by an arcade game.
It's the same car, just with the nose taken off
It's actually a 2009 Mazda, as designated by the B09 part of the model name, the B08/80 was the 2008 model. This car was one of two used by Dyson Racing in the 2009 American Le Mans Series season.
This can only be a good sign as to the ALMS content of Forza 4!
Sega Rally is a terrible game, a disgrace to the arcade.
You can see the Aston-Martin Lola B09/60, the De Ferran Acura ARX-02a and the Lowe's Fernandez Acura ARX-01b in the background of this picture.
Essentially a modified turbo Indycar from the 1990s, this monster still holds the open-wheel record at Pikes Peak.
Not 100 percent accurate, but it look most like an M1A2 Abrams to me.
You need to find TEN of them to build the wreck, I guess people just left these things all across Oahu.
Only available to players who pre-ordered the game from Amazon UK.
Essentially, a purpose built police cruiser, that's economical, sporty, durable, and well armed to take down crooks and defend the peace. Sounds pretty badass to me!
So we get the Veyron convertible in street trim included, but we need to pay to download the coupe street version, yet we get the police version of that included? I'm confused.
so NFS will be the first game to feature this new Porsche beauty, awesome. Can't wait to unlock it.
This is ridiculous, and yet I really want to drive one.
The planned road version of the beastly race car, prototypes were shown, but I don't believe they sold any.
Sweet, Radicals Le Mans Series machine.
I think I just had a heart attack, to have this legendary car in this game is beyond epic.
A movie icon and great looking car, but beneath lurks a 130 horsepower engine, strangled by emissions, for a top speed of 110 mph after a 0-60 time of 10 seconds. Still, it can fly, so...
I can still remember the sound of the racing V8 mixed with the whine of the gearbox, epic.
A beautiful and amazing race car. Would be nice to have the older model too though, it had it's own unique look, and a good driver line-up.
Damn, is that the stock ride height? That thing looks to ride as high as a street car!
The legendary 1-2 winner of the 1998 Le Mans, what a car!
The last year they raced the R8, hated to see it go. It's gonna be up there with the Porsche 917 and 962 as one of the greatest race cars of all time, it was just a monster.
Funny, the driver's names are clearly on this car in FM2, yet absent in FM3, licensing issues? I thought Turn 10 and Peugeot had a pretty big partnership, hence the FM2 and Xbox 360 sponsorships on the car.
Sixth overall and LMP class winner at the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Second place overall at the 1999 Le Mans, driven by Tsuchiya, Katayama and Suzuki. Also the only Toyota to finish the race.
Mini DeLorean is epic win!
With actual gull wing doors by chance? |
