Hmm, in my view, the truck looks more like a Volvo, or more like a Renault to be precise (after all, the new Renault trucks are based on Volvo chassis, thus explaining the similarities). Can't see anything MAN-ish about the truck. | ||

Looks more like an Isuzu Trooper to me. It's definitely not a Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wrangler rear wheels are closer to the rear of the vehicle, whereas in this photo, the rear wheels are right under the C pillar, a common design from Japanese off-road SUVs. It could be an 80s or 90s Toyota Land Cruiser. Very likely something Japanese. | ||
Thought of the Renault Saviem bus at first, but the color scheme on that bus in the picture, is so similar to that of the Gyrobus G3. | ||

Looks like a reference to a cartoon, I dunno the name, but the cartoon was about a cavemen family, with things of today, based on stones and animal skin. I know the main character who drove this car, always wore an orange animal fur. | ||
Rear design reminds me of some luxury British car, probably Rolls Royce or Jaguar XD, but of course, definitely a Ford! | ||
Uhh, looks like a hatchback car with an off-road kit to it. Notice the spare wheel on the rear, and the slightly elevated body and larger wheels. Reminds me something Japanese or South Korean. I don't see Volvo anywhere on my radar, it's true that Volvo does offer off-road packages on their car models, but they never come with spare wheels hanging on the rear doors. | ||

Reminds me more of some Citroen... like C5 or C6, judging but the proud nose of the car which stretches ahead of the front wheels, that's something the French cars usually do in their designs. | ||
Definitely some small French city car, I had Citroen C1 and Peugeot 108 in mind... But it also reminds me of the Renault Twingo. | ||
Closest I can think of is Ford S-max. This car does make me think of some Citroen though. I highly doubt Honda CR-V, because in real, the CR-V has its rear wheels closer to the rear of the car. Whereas in this photo, the car barely resembles any crossover, it looks more like a curvy minivan, or some estate. | ||

Uhh, the side reminds me more of the Opel Campo, 2 door version, based on the extended length of the small windows behind the doors. I don't know if it's just me, I hate to sound like I'm trying to create questions... But the truck doesn't seem Toyota-ish to me... The only thing Toyota-ish about the truck would be it's size and dimension. The design seems somewhat American. The body reminds me of some Chevrolet pickup from the 80s. Front grill seems like something from Chrysler's 4x4 brands... like Jeep, or AMC. | ||
Definitely based on the Toyota FJ cruiser. Though some of that extra design reminds me of the Matra Rancho, from certain angles. Front grill looks like that of some Hummer. | ||
Well, front seems like that of a late 60s, early 70s Mercedes SL. The body of the car always made me think of something Italian, until someone in the comments pointed out its resemblance to a 70s BMW. | ||

Had a Renault espace in mind when I first saw this photo. The vehicle has sharp edges, it barely tells me Peugeot 807. The wing mirror is the only thing that closely resembles the Peugeot 807, everything else seems Renault-ish. | ||
Hmm, so it's fair to say/conclude, that the body of the pick up truck is based on a Nissan (Nissan patrol 60 side design, and Datsun rear). Except the front, which appears very German, could be based on a Mercedes G class, with squar headlights instead of circular ones. Or it could be based off the Tata Sumo 1990s (which was built on a chassis licensed by Mercedes to Tata). | ||
