British light caterpillar artillery tractor designed and made by Vivian Loyd. Later they were produced by many companies including Ford and Wolseley. Some of the carriers were modified to carry different howitzers, but these changes were usually makeshift and there was no official designation for Loyd Carrier carrying any type of weapon
