Speedevil photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 23:45 | Burn Rubber a écrit Hers a solution: Don't abbriviate it! Just spell out what the SS stands for! (Name this car Super Strut-One instead on SS-I and the Camaro Super Sport instead of SS). That still doesn't fix the logos being missing though... The logo missing is the biggest issue actually. And what I don't understand is that, for most of those cars, they could have used another trim level (i.e. RS or Z/28 instead of SS for the Camaro) but no, they just took the cars and removed all the badges. -- Last edit: 2016-08-12 23:45:54 |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 22:49 | Here's another solution: Just leave the whole SS thing alone and if somebody from israel complains about it (which they never will), Turn10 can always censor the evil letters for them... -- Last edit: 2016-08-13 16:25:13 |
sajmon14 photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 19:35 | I don't see a point in this. WWII happened and you cannot delete this. It happened and it's part of history and we shouldn't mix the car games into this. Maybe some guys from Turn 10 are Jewish and have a huge problem with that? It's a nonsense. -- Last edit: 2016-08-12 19:54:05 |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 18:31 | sajmon14 a écrit This is ridiculous! Soon we won't be able to play WW2 games because of nazi symbols that are in them -,- The USK here in germany removes swastikas from every game that features them... |

Mark0 photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 13:16 | Zordid a écrit What is Israel's problem with SS? Nazis wanted to exterminate Jewish people during WWII But SS Cars existed long before WWII... |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 12:23 | Burn Rubber a écrit Put this all into a video called "Forza EXPOSED" and it might as well be an IGN video. Tonight on Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory.... |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-12 12:20 | What is Israel's problem with SS? |
Speedevil photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-11 22:55 | Well, there isn't a lot to say about that honestly. Xbox Live is now available in a lot of countries, including Israel, so they did this so that nobody gets offended over there. They're a new market and they want to sell the game even more, so they can't risk that. However, they could and should have an uncensored version for the rest of the world too. |
Speedevil photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-11 20:29 | Well, that's concerning. It means whoever wrote those Forza Vista description didn't really research it. |

2016-08-11 20:25 | GroupB a écrit She also pronounced it SS-Eye in Forza 5, when it's actually SS-One. There was also an SS-II...just a little basic research would have told T10 that. I guess none of T10's employees played Gran Turismo before. That has the Celica SS-II. |

GroupB photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-11 19:44 | Speedevil a écrit Nope, they also removed SS-I from this car. In the menu, it's just called 2003 Celica. For some reason it also doesn't have a Toyota badge, as you can see. The dumbest part is they had the narration lady call it a "Celica Super Sport"...but the SS in the Celica's case stood for Super Strut. Idiots. |
Zordid photo_librarymode_comment 2016-08-11 18:59 | And Turn10 blamed GM for it (Facepalm) And yet we seem to be the only ones who are actually complaining about it. I only have seen two threads about it on the forza forums but they both got taken down by the admins for some reason Edit: There aren't any badges because this car has none, like in previous forzas :P -- Last edit: 2016-08-11 19:44:14 |
