Frankly I've always hated the way liftbacks are always considered hatchbacks on here (since true hatchbacks have their own distinct shape), but that's the way it is for now. I mistook conventional trunks for lift backs, sorry, but anyways, this doesn’t really classify the Tesla Model S as a hatchback, as sedans can also have liftbacks with a different overhang. Tesla has never manufactured a single hatchback.

dragonboy 2013-04-01 07:34	It is a four door sedan, but the boot has a hatch/liftback, like the Porsche Panamera. I agree that models like these, should be classed as sedans depite the way the boot opens, but waht can you do.
