Two other details are the turbine intakes' design which isn't the same, and the main wings. The Hawk's are flat while this one has them angled slightly downwards. The Aero Vodochody L-39 could be another candidate, the main wings are the wrong shape and it's got the same problem with the rear wings (are there any trainers with the rear wings below the thruster?), but the intakes are a much better match. I reckon the BAE Hawk is the closer match overall, but it's probably a mix of several inspirations, so it's a matter of whether you'd rather pick a plane that's similar but not an exact match, or just call it MFG. |

I meant they are way higher which isn't the case here. But you're definitely right about the main wings. Was tired yesterday, completely missed them. My bad. So definitely not a M-311 either then. The Skyhawk's tail wings are higher than its main wings. Same with the BAE Hawk. Aermacchi M-311 is the closest match for now. The plane appears in game as part of an aerial display team, so thinking outside of France/Italy (the steam train featured in the game isn't a close match for any French/Italian one), the colour scheme is similar to the Blue Angels, looks similar to their old A4 Skyhawks? That or the Red Arrows' BAE Hawk. -- Last edit: 2024-05-20 17:26:18 |

2024-05-20 15:55 | It's more likely the Aermacchi M-311 the prototype of the M-345 because the production variants first flight wasn't until 2018. When the prototypes been in the air since before 2005. |
![]() 2024-05-20 12:26 | This looks more like a military trainer jet than a stunt plane. Though, the thing is the game takes place in Southern France/Northern Italy, and yet this is definitely neither Dassault's Alphajet nor Aermacchi's M-345 or M-346. Any better guesses? |
