Front and back from a 1980 Maserati Kylami, overall body shape is a Mercedes SL.

That's a Brazilian car called "Ford Corcel".

Well, there was a Maserati Kyalami in the hidden Newcastle stage of Driver 1: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=8376
They could of potentially remodelled it slightly. Then again, they're stupidly rare, and even though it's just a game, it's unlikely to see one in Brazil.

And De Tomaso is based on South America. So it's more of a Longchamp rather than Kyalami.

How about Maserati Kyalami: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maserati_Kyalami ?

It looks quite similar with exception of headlights (square instead of round).

No way in hell this is a Mercedes.
Back when I first played the game (2002) I thought it was a Nissan Sunny B12, but I think it wasn't sold in Brazil.
