2023-11-25 11:45 | I've found a PDF of illustrations of dozens of 4-4-0 locomotives from the 1850s, the Lowell Machine Shop 'Columbia' on page 21 is a very close match. The only thing that is putting me off IDing it as that is the name - it doesn't make sense that they'd just pick the name 'Rensselaer' out of thin air, when most of the other trains in the game use their real names. I do have a feeling that somewhere out there, in some obscure reference book, there is probably a real locomotive called the Rensselaer (or one from the Rensselaer & Saratoga Railroad) that is a perfect match. |
