Kit car in this term refers to the 2 liter fwd naturally aspirated F2 class ( Formula 2 ) the cars that competed in this class, were called kit cars. They weighed less than 1000 kgs and had around 280-290 hp, and was a good match for the 4wd Wrc cars on tarmac rallys, and Citroen actually won 2 outright wrc events in 1999. |
