No, the Superbee was based on the Dodge Coronet, and did not race in Nascar. The Charger Daytona arrived in 1969 to give the Charger a better chance in Nascar, then in 1970, Plymouth brought out their version, the SuperBIRD, based on the Road Runner, which looked similar, but had a more steeply raked rear wing, among other differences.
