I think there ought to be a rule that added stylized cars must clearly be based off something (no question for licensed cars like from NFS or stock photos from online games) If not, they are deleted. Same rule as on IMCDb with cartoons. See, with this rule, Stratum Wars and Ingot Wars might've been prevented. In that case, as I can understand it, you should delete vehicles, listed as MFG, which were added by you in database. How it can be interesting if it doesn't exist in a real life? Now about this game and vehicle. I played it when I was a child. In that time I couldn't recognise a vehicle because of small size of cell phone's display. Now, when I can it launch with an emulator, I ran it and made some shots in the hope of reliable recognising. To be honest, I don't know what is it, but I am sure that it's some actual vehicle because of events of game take place in a real world of our century. By the way, I know that some users offered to list it as VAZ Sputnik/Samara, but this vehicle has some parts which aren't similar to real car. |
Twilight Sparkplug photo_librarymode_comment 2017-04-24 20:29 | even if cars are not real it is nice to have a place to view them all in some kind of database. I mean games set in the future would all have to be removed, Most of the cars from games like GTA2 other than the few that area real life based. I think the issue is not that cars should be removed, but people should maybe not be so desperate to label cars that are not designed to be real cars, As I said, Games set in the future ETC whos cars can clearly not be based on anything real because... it does not exist yet. I think cars should just carry on being labled as Made for game if they are too generic to resemble any particular car. |

So you suggest we just leave a lot of cars out of games because we can't agree on what they are based on? |
