Desscythe17 photo_librarymode_comment 2016-09-26 01:01 | AutoTracker wrote I was actually just browsing through the Midnight Club II page and was giving some of the playable cars a GTA manufacturer. For instance, the 1971 Bestia now becomes the 1971 Imponte Bestia. It'll get kinda confusing though, especially since there was a Grotti Bestia added in a GTA Online update... maybe there'll be a Maibatsu Bestia added as well! Why? It doesn't make any sense to give manufacturer names to cars in GTA before GTA IV (not talking about a few exceptions of cars which appeared in commercials). Giving manufacturer names to cars in other Rockstar games is even more pointless. -- Last edit: 2016-09-26 01:02:08 |

This is just leading to crapload of fake informations on IGCD or Wikias It's what happens when your a publisher/developer and you make a big deal about one series but not about another. |

People on the MC wiki also tried to call the MC2 cars by the Vapid and Dewbauche names along with the others. When they never were called that in the game... That's really dumb, MC doesn't take place in the same universe (since there are real cities). |

2008-02-10 19:19 | The developers of the GTA games were actually based in Scotland. Maybe their designers liked the Escort Cosworth so much (it was one of the greatest hot-hatchbacks of the 90s, and it was also successful as a rally car, Jeremy Clarkson was a big fan) they decided to put into the game, even though it was never available in the US (and thus was probably never street legal), which is where the cities in GTA are located. Perhaps in the game it is a gray import, I don't think you see it driving around in traffic, in Liberty City one is hidden in a courtyard, so it's like a secret car. |
