F1 Manager 2001 (2000) | Last official F1 Manager up to this date and old classic by Electronic Arts. This F1 Manager game has multiple alternate names: In germany it is known as 'F1 Offical Team Manager'. International it's named as 'F1 Manager/F1 Manager 2001'. Although it is named as 'F1 Manager 2001', every version of this game starts and uses data of F1 season 1999. The game has no direct goal or it can be managed until the day of dawn - i.e. it can still be managed in the game year 2037, for example, but only the drivers from 1999 are still available. All 11 teams from 1999 can be selected from game start. It is possible to hire new drivers for the following seasons and see, for example, Michael Schumacher in a Minardi or Jacques Villeneuve in a Ferrari or McLaren. Also sponsors, staff as well as engine suppliers etc. have to be hired new. |
