Made for Game Custom Vehicle Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | It's a figure of speech; what I'm saying is why don't you try to beat him with this car?
Hyundai HCD-8 Sports Tourer Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | There's a problem though, the Genesis didn't exist until 2008 and this game had came out in 06, the Genesis concept was conceived back in 2003, but the Coupe itself didn't begin to appear until 2007.
Audi Shooting Brake Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | It is not a Volvo C30 , i can tell you that
Made for Game Custom Vehicle Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | Hit him with his own weapons: have you tried using this thing against him?
Audi Shooting Brake Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | I think it looks like a mixture of Audi TT and Mitsubishi Eclipse. TT is a bit more prominent in it though, with the near horizontal beltline and distinct wheel arches. But the headlights and overall more softer and rounder body seems inspired by the Eclipse. static.cargurus.com/images/site/2009/03/22/14/26/2008_mitsubishi_eclipse_gs-pic-52712.jpeg @ burn rubber: I don't mean to be rude, but all game-related wikia sites I've come across all full of poor style, lack of citations, grammar errors etc. I don't think they should be viewed as a credible source for identifying in game vehicles. The only thing that looks like Volco C30 is that the tail lights go up the sides of the rear window. If you were to remove the upper part of the tail lights, they look like Audi TT's.
Audi Shooting Brake Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | Does this help? The wheel arches are also clearly inspired by a TT, but they've been exaggerated/enlarged for Ridge Racer. -- Last edit: 2014-12-13 19:14:12
Audi Shooting Brake Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | No really, the body and especially the cockpit are taken straight from a first gen TT upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/57/2003-2006_Audi_TT_(8N)_1.8_T_coupe_(2011-11-08)_01.jpg -- Last edit: 2014-12-13 14:25:01

Made for Game UFO Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | Maybe I am wrong, but it sounds like an cheap explanation. Boat is boat, plane is plane - it doesn't matter if it can ride on the street. If I won't pull up in a plane in GTA can it be counted as novelty car? What about Dodo in GTA III - theoretically according to SWF it should be counted as novelty car as well. For me vehicle included here should have at least one wheel and some kind of motor that powers that wheel. Cart with engine placed on it shouldn't be counted, as well as skateboard, strange japanese doll that doesn't have engine, boat, plane. Wipeout vehicles are not included yet hovercrafts, ufos and other crap on RR page are included. Motoskis aren't included, but they have both engines and wheels. We should make clear rules what vehicle should be included and these rules should apply to both normal users, admins and owners of this site.
Made for Game UFO Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | I agree, but see this page for an explanation of the term "novelty car"
Made for Game UFO Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | What kind of novelty cars? We've got boats, strange japanese dolls in Runabout, UFOs in RR, yet snowmobiles are deleted everytime they are added. Don't you think it sucks. Novelty or not novelty I believe everything that doesn't look like car (and doesn't have wheels) should go.
Made for Game Custom Vehicle Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | If it has, then it's okay. From the front it looks like some kind of rather strange thing.
Made for Game UFO Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | I thought there existed a rule that made it possible for "novelty vehicles" to get listed, or am I wrong?
Made for Game Custom Vehicle Ridge Racer 7 (2006) | Really? Looks like there's a couple of wheels at the back. The Thrust2 had a similar look. -- Last edit: 2012-11-08 17:39:13
