So that's three IDENTICAL Neons sold by three different automakers in North America. And the 2003-2005 redesign didn't have it easy either. In the three different countries in North America, the car had three different names. Of course our car was the Dodge Neon, Mexico had a rebadged Chrysler Neon, and in Canada the Dodge version was renamed Dodge SX 2.0. At least before 2003, Europeans had it easy because the only Neon sold there was the Chrysler Neon. Unfortunately for 2003 the European Neon was discontinued and our Neon continued the confusion. | |

Not like the Dodge Neon and Plymouth Neon, which were absolutely IDENTICAL cars. The only way to know for sure is to look on either the trunk or either of the front doors and see if it says "DODGE" or "Plymouth". And don't get me started on the people who remove the badges so we can never tell for sure what it is... That's because this was supposed to be a rebirth of the AMC brand. | |
