While the game refers to this as a Plymouth Road Runner Superbird, it uses the exact same in-game model as the Charger Daytona, and you can clearly see based on the hood scoops, front grille, and side vents that this is the Charger and not the Superbird. Purely a limitation of the time though, as other racing sims from the 90's tended to use the same car model to represent multiple manufacturers. Still I thought it was worth pointing out.

Looks more they wanted to save time and budget than a limitation.

That is a Dodge Charger, not a Challenger. Look at tail lights and side vents details.

definitely a charger, in fact with that grille design, I think it's meant to be a Charger 500. Kind of fitting for a Nascar game:

Just as a custom convertible.

Ah, the Cyclone. Another car that deserves more representation in driving/racing games in general.

There is no such thing as a '70 model year charger daytona. The winged warrior for the '70 model year was the superbird, the charger daytona was a '69 model only. While daytonas may have competed in the '70 season, they were not '70 cars.
