Need for Speed: Heat (2019)
In an unexpected, yet not THAT shocking turn of events, it's been announced that development of NFS Heat will come to an end, as Criterion has begun development of the next title in the franchise.

www.ea.com/games/need-for-speed/need-for-speed-heat/news/need-for-speed-shifts-gears-into-the-future

There will be an update this month, but aside from smaller fixes, there will only be one new addition, and that's Cross-play, a first for the NFS franchise. No new cars, events, or anything else.

But, this does mean one positive thing for the future of NFS, and that's the fact that Heat will lay the groundwork for Cross-play in future NFS titles, which will be implemented from the start, not as an update, like on Heat.

Obviously, this whole global pandemic has had a massive impact on the gaming industry, and it's likely that a lot of planned content had to be cancelled, in order for the next NFS to be even remotely capable of being released on time sometime next year.

Hopefully, we'll get a chance to see what might have been coming for the game, and in turn, what we might be able to expect in the next NFS.

It's like they say, behind every gray cloud is a silver lining. And I'd say that cross-play could be that silver lining, even though it's a shame that there won't be any new cars added to this game.

Ok, can confirm from a video I found on YT, the Wraith, which is based on the Attrazione in the original, didn't get the same visual updates as the base car.

In fact, aside from the rear, the Wraith actually looks near identical to the original.
Chevrolet Corvette

Wreckfest (2018)
Twice as much as the Doom Rig, but the changes to the Fame payouts with the new update make it a bit easier to possibly get this car.

Max daily payout is about 12K with all Gold trophies, so I'd say it would, at the least, take about 5 days to be able to get this car, which is decent.

Wreckfest (2018)
New update out today, includes the second season of Tournament action, including a time attack track at Big Valley Speedway.

Fame payouts are highly increased, bundle and paint prices are reduced in the Tournament store. Also, Season 1 offerings are still available, which means you can still get the Doom Rig.

There's also a new car, the Super-Venom, along with a Speed Freak bundle for the Speedbird.

iRacing (2008)
Plenty, I just don't know if there's an easy way to get images of them. I know that North Wikesboro has brand new RV models unique to the track, and a lot of the NASCAR tracks have haulers and LOTS of vehicles in the infield.

There's also a variety of official pace vehicles, including a 2005 Mustang GT and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.

Edit: Ok, apparently there IS a free camera function, looks like you have to do it in a replay. CTRL+F12 activates it, CTRL+Z switches to mouse control, from what I've read.

Ferrari 360 Modena rear, Lamborghini Murcielago front, side is largely the same, other than changes to the vents on the rear fenders and removal of the windows behind the doors, which, ironically, make the sides look less like a Murcielago than the original did (which wasn't a lot to start with).
MINI Cooper

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
So, with new images, I've noticed these additional changes:

- Rocker panels are smoothed out compared to the original
- Headlights are rounder than the original, with a new lighting layout
- The wiper blades are shorter, but more detailed
- Fuel filler on the passenger's side, which the original never had
- New lighting design/layout on the tail lights
- Rear bumper has been redesigned, with the dip under the license plate being much wider, the rear vents are now slimmer, and smaller exhaust tips

And that's all on top of the [F56] JCW front bumper.
Ford F-Series

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
The more I look at this with these new images, the more it looks like a sixth generation Ford F-Series Medium Duty than the TopKick the original looks like.

The whole cab and cowl seem to have been redesigned with a much boxier look, similar to the F-Series. Heck, that handle on the side of the cab, behind the door matches the Ford, too.
Elgin Pelican

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
There's also a side step on the side, with a redesigned tubing for the vaccum system underneath. The side mirrors are bigger than before. And, they raised the location of the manufacturer badge on the front.
Chevrolet C-Series

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
With these new images, more new details can be seen rather easily.

- New headlights and taillights with new lighting arrangements and visible bulbs.
- No more cross-split grille (unless it's a customization option).
- The secondary color trim has more depth to it.
- New bumper designs, front and rear.
- Ribbed body moulding between the rear wheel well and rear bumper.
Bentley Mulsanne

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Alright, now that we've got quality images, I can now see the major differences between this and the original.

- The headlights have been reversed in placement. Smaller on the top, larger on the bottom.
- The grille is no longer split, and it's much bigger than the original.
- As I mentioned before, the bumper is new, and has Continental Supersports-like hood vents.
- Also as I mentioned before, the side windows are smaller than before.
- And, a highly different rear bumper design.

ドリフトスピリッツ (2013)
Awesome seeing this car officially show up in a video game, before it was only available as an unofficial mod in Assetto Corsa.
BMW 3

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
They changed just about every single thing about this car in the redesign, except the front bumper, which is exactly the same as the original.
Ford Mustang

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
There appears to be a new rear bumper that wraps around the corners, and the rear side marker lights might be bigger, but that could just be lighting effects. Also not sure if those are new door handles, or it's just the way the car is tilted.

Either way, changes seem to be minimal on this, which I'm personally fine with. I always liked the Hammerhead the way it is, and if it's just polished up compared to other cars in the game, I can live with that.

Edit: Thanks for catching my typo. Had Bootlegger on the mind, still eager to see that one.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Looking at the new images, they've literally updated this model. They've given it the door handles from a [W451] ForTwo, as well as the taillights from a [W453] ForTwo.

Yeah, certainly an unusual mix, but I can't say I'm surprised, with it being a Japanese developed title.
Ford Ranger

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Wow, from a Dodge Ram to a Ford Ranger? That's a really nice looking model! The top of the bed even resembles the available raised bedsides from the early 00's Edge trim level, just wrapping all the way around!
Cadillac XLR

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Very nice refresh, all of the uglier parts have been changed, especially the taillights, which are a massive improvement.

They still plastered those two V10s on the rear...isn't one on the rear enough?
Ford Flex

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Seeing crisper images, I can certainly say that this looks much better than the original. So glad they got rid of those strange 'XL' emblems on the front doors, replacing them with Steer logo emblems.

But...that front bumper does look rather unusual.
Toyota Prius

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Thank goodness they redesigned that rear end, that was the ugliest part of the original model. Also, good call on them adding a window behind the rear doors, albeit at the cost of doing away with the little windows in front of the front doors.

Overall, this looks like a major improvement over the original model, for certain!

IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023)
I was just looking through the Xbox Game Store, and noticed a number of recent releases that aren't on the site yet, wondering if anyone was interested in adding them.

- Concept Destruction: Basically mini, battery powered, cardboard Wreckfest

- Formula Retro Racing: Kinda like a modern Virtua Racing, full 3D models and old school racing

- Super Toy Cars 2: Kinda like a mix between Micro Machines games and Hot Wheels games. Bunch of cars that look just like their real counterparts, should make identification pretty easy. The first STC title isn't on here, either.

- MotoGP 20: I'm actually surprised this isn't on here yet. Surely someone here is planning to do it, right?

- Convoy: A Tactical Rougelike: Think Crossout, but two-dimensional, top down, and pixelated.

- Snakeybus: The bus that just keeps getting longer and longer. Think Snake meets Crazy Taxi meets Bus Simulator.
Tractorri Lamborghini Mustang

Gangstar: Vegas (2013)
Nose looks like part 80's Monte Carlo, part modern Camaro. Side looks like a late 60's Mustang. Countach rear.

Altogether...I'd say MFG.
Jeep Cherokee

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
I was gonna say exactly this. I remember that the Nordberg, in every Saints Row title it's been in, had been able to spawn with such a bumper.

Still, might be best to get shots of a model with a more 'stock' looking bumper.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Looking at those new shots, it kinda looks to me like a cross between a US-spec [E140] Corolla, with the rear looking like the related [E140] 'narrow' JDM Corolla Axio.
Mitsubishi Lancer

Saints Row: The Third Remastered (2020)
Actually, that's an R34 assembly, not an R33. R33 would have the two circular lights aligned, and there would be reverse lights underneath.

It's not. The Solar is already listed, and doesn't look like this.
